Fantastic 5.0
I actually booked the tour because of the aurora offer in the description. Unfortunately, until the end of the tour, the metric for aurora sighting was poor and we ended up not going for the sighting at all. Despite that unlucky part, this tour gives amazing experience for travelers who plan to visit Tasmania for the first time. We don’t speak Chinese at all, but tour guides always give English explanation in addition to pre-recorded English audio guide of each destination. If you are hunting for aurora sighting, make sure you’ve checked the possibility of seeing the aurora Australis before booking. Otherwise, just enjoy the beauty of Tasmania as covered by this tour.

My friends and I chose to do a full loop around the lake on the day of our tour. The trail was mostly flat, and the scenery along the way was beautiful, featuring both lake views and surrounding forests. Unfortunately, the weather was a bit overcast when we were walking, and we had to rush through the latter half of the walk to make our集合 time, so we couldn't fully enjoy the views. After the walk, we had lunch at a cabin near Ronny Creek. If you have time, you can also take a short, ten-minute walk to try your luck at spotting wombats.

Truly enjoy the day tour to Cradle Mountain from Launceston arranged by McDermott's Coaches. Our guide David not only show us the best location for photoshoots but also gave an enriching history on Tasmania and how Cradle Mountain became a National Park worthy for everyone to enjoy it's scenary. We truly love the story of Gustave and Kate in their efforts in conservation and we understand why as we walk around the mountain immense with it's beauty and scenic view.

I spent eight days in Tasmania and participated in several day tours. I genuinely feel that the Bay of Fires day tour was the most enjoyable and highly recommended. David is truly an excellent local guide; the itinerary was well-planned, his commentary was professional, and he was always friendly and attentive to us. Additionally, there were six of us on the tour that day, and even though we were all from different places and meeting for the first time, we were fortunate that everyone was very friendly and talkative. The atmosphere of the entire tour was fantastic, leaving us with wonderful memories.🩷

We had a wonderful experience on the Tasmania 6-Day Classic Attractions Tour with Aurora. Overall, everything was very well organized, from the itinerary to the daily logistics, which made the trip smooth and stress-free. A special thank you to our guides, Martin and Mark. They were both friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful throughout the journey. They went out of their way to make sure everyone was comfortable, shared interesting information about the places we visited, and created a fun and welcoming atmosphere. The itinerary covered Tasmania’s beautiful highlights, and we enjoyed the stunning scenery and unique experiences. It was a great way to explore the island without having to worry about the planning. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a well-organized tour with excellent guides. Thank you, Martin and Mark, for making our Tasmania trip so memorable!

very very good experience! learnt a lot from the guide about the Tasmanian Devils and Quolls! she is amazing and explained very clearly. kudos to her and the team for their conservation efforts and tender loving care to this little ones! I feel the animals are well looked after :) just to note, you are entitled for 24 hours entry before and after your ticket timing, so do visit them again after your stipulated time. highly recommend them if you are in the area. support them as your tickets pay for their conservation efforts!

The tour guide was very friendly and personable, like a living history book, introducing the history of Cradle Mountain. The private car and lunch included in the tour were very convenient. We also visited Mural Town, but due to its distance, the sightseeing time there was not very long. We had about 1.5 hours for independent hiking before the guide led us on the rest of the tour; more time would have been better. Overall, I was very satisfied.

I had a wonderful experience at Josef Chromy Wines in Launceston. The wine tasting was excellent, offering a great variety of local wines, each with its own distinct character. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience very enjoyable. The lunch was equally impressive—fresh, beautifully presented, and paired perfectly with the wines. The setting was elegant yet relaxed, and the views of the vineyards made the meal even more special. Overall, it was a memorable experience combining delicious food, fine wine, and stunning surroundings. I highly recommend visiting Josef Chromy Wines if you’re in Launceston.

What to know before visiting Launceston

Quick overview of Launceston and what to do

Launceston is a compact Tasmanian city with a strong focus on Tours and outdoor & sports activities, and Klook bookings show a clear seasonal rhythm through the year. Demand peaks in February and eases to a trough in May, so the city alternates between lively summer months and much quieter periods. These patterns make Launceston well suited to travellers who enjoy nature-led excursions and short guided tours.

When to visit for crowds and prices

Klook booking data shows February is the busiest month while May sees the lowest demand. Prices move through the year too: Klook’s past bookings indicate prices are typically lowest around August and climb to their highest in May. That means crowd levels and prices diverge at times—February is busy but not the priciest month, while May is quiet yet shows some of the higher prices historically. For lower prices and smaller crowds, consider travelling in August or other shoulder months; if you want the peak-season atmosphere, aim for February.

Tips for travellers from Malaysia

Travellers from Malaysia usually book a few weeks ahead: Klook’s typical lead time is around 20 days, with many bookings made within about seven days for last-minute plans. If you plan to visit in February (the peak month), consider locking in popular tours earlier; for shoulder months you can often stay flexible and book closer to your travel dates on Klook.
