it’s a small private tour with around 11pm. Our guide is a nice gentleman who also give us brief introduction of each spot. Just wish the peninsula hot spring time would be a little bit longer

The views along the coast were absolutely stunning, and the hike itself is very beginner friendly. I don’t exercise much normally, but was still able to complete all the walks comfortably. The pacing was well planned, with sufficient time given to explore and enjoy the scenery without feeling rushed. There are rest options available along the way, so you can sit out certain parts if tired. That said, everyone in my group managed to complete the full hike. The tour started on a great note with complimentary coffee before departure, which was a really thoughtful touch. A big part of the positive experience was our guide and driver, Nat. He was punctual, energetic, and cheerful throughout the day, which kept the group engaged. He was also very knowledgeable, sharing interesting information and tips at each location. The small group size made the experience more personal and attentive, and it was nice that Nat even joined us for some of the hikes. Definitely a tour worth considering!

Had a really nice time on the Mornington Peninsula Food and Wine day tour from Melbourne. Everything was well organised and ran smoothly. Our driver-guide Stuart was pleasant and knowledgeable about the area. Lunch at Montalto was very tasty - the prawn pizza and focaccia were delicious. The tasting at Point Leo included entry to the beautiful sculpture park that had artworks by some well known artists like Yayoi Kusama and Jaume Plensa. Thought the mix of some sightseeing and visits to wineries and brewery was just right. Highly recommend this tour.

Fantastic 5.0
This was a very well-organized tour with fulfilling tastings at each winery, allowing us to enjoy a variety of wines. The lunch was also very delicious. The guide, Mike, contacted us before the tour to confirm details, which made us feel secure participating. Mike was a very good guide, friendly, and treated everyone with great care, leaving a very good impression.

I hopped on the Eagle around 5 PM, and it was the perfect call—the sunset was absolutely incredible. Watching the coastline of the Port Phillip bay glow in that deep orange light from the cable car is something I’ll never forget. Once I reached the Summit Station, I wandered over to Seawinds Gardens and actually spotted some wild kangaroos, which was the ultimate cherry on top of a beautiful evening.

Fantastic 5.0
Entire trip was so seamless and straightforward. Our guide James was really friendly and accommodating. Was a bit unsure at the start because it was raining heavily but he assured us that a little bit of rain would kinda enhance the experience haha. Luckily the rain stopped by the time we got there but it did made dipping in the hot spring more enjoyable. I do wish we could have skipped the boxes though, but I suppose since it was along the route it made sense to just pit stop.

What to know before visiting Mornington Peninsula

Quick snapshot of Mornington Peninsula and its rhythm

Mornington Peninsula attracts mostly experiences like cable car rides, massages and tours, with parks, gardens and wildlife visits also popular. Demand peaks in May and falls to a low in December, so bookings cluster around the late-autumn surge and are much lighter at the end of the year.

Best time to visit and how prices behave

According to Klook booking data, the busiest month is May while demand is lowest in December. Prices reach their highest recorded point in November and hit their lowest in February; overall prices drift down from late-year into early-year before rising again toward November. If you want lower prices and smaller crowds, consider February or other early-year months when prices are typically at their lowest and demand quieter; for peak-season atmosphere aim for May when demand is strongest even though prices are not at their absolute peak. Note that price and demand do not perfectly track one another here: the priciest month (November) is not the busiest month (May), so you can encounter crowd peaks without the very highest prices, and vice versa.

Tips for travellers from Malaysia

Most travellers lock things in well ahead: platform-wide lead-time data suggests bookings are typically made many months in advance, though last-minute options do appear around a week out. For a flexible trip you can still find last-minute availability, but during May it’s wise to plan and book earlier to secure popular activities; use Klook to compare timing and availability so you can choose quieter dates or better-priced options.
