Shifen Waterfalls: Try going to the other side to get the best views. The tour has enough time here, so make sure you really soak in the beauty of the falls, not just take photos. Shifen Lanterns: We’re happy with the store where we bought our lanterns. Richard (guide) also helped us buy peanut ice cream roll and chicken leg. We even got a $5 discount at the tea shop for our drinks. Cat Village: Super relaxing place. The cats are so fat and there are so many! The view is also really nice. Definitely one of our happy places since we’re a cat-loving family. Jiufen: Magical. Best to book the NIGHT JIUFEN, you arrive before night and get to see the lanterns light up. It’s crowded, but just be patient. Guide Richard: I like how he shared so much information about Taiwan, not just about the the places on the list. He made the trip fun, gave helpful tips, and kept everything organized. We received timely updates, and we never felt rushed. Thank u for writing on my pad! (Just keep walking)

I highly recommend this. I don't know what I would have done without it... I came on a trip with my younger sister, and the driver and guide tailored everything to us and explained it well. Thank you so much, Nicolas. I go to the bathroom often and take forever to take pictures, but he told us the best photo spots and guided us by understanding our needs. It rained, but he prepared a large umbrella, told us about souvenir shops, and guided us to great restaurants, making it the best trip ever. He speaks English well and explains everything in detail, which was a great help in understanding Taiwan. I highly recommend a private tour over a bus tour. Thank you so much!!

If you want great photos & videos for social media, definitely choose KEVIN CHANG. He is very skilled at photography & videography and captured lot of of amazing photos & videos for us, He never tires of capturing amazing clicks and voluntarily took a lot of photos. This tour is a perfect way to see the North Coast in one day. The bus was clean and the driver was excellent. Our tour guide Libby was very knowledgeable and helpful. We visited Yehliu Geopark, Shifen Old Street, Shifen Waterfall, Golden Waterfall, and Jioufen. The schedule is a bit tight at some stops, but it is very organized. It saves you from the stress of public transit. I was able to get great video footage and photos everywhere. I highly recommend this booking for anyone visiting Taiwan.

this tour was worth every penny. depending on what time you book your tour, they will cater it to fit your day. We recommend booking the private tour because you’re able to also customize it how you want and their private tours are in English. Stephen was our tour guide. he was patient when we were slower and had a lot of knowledge that he shared with us about each site. He also had great recommendations and never let us forget any of our items. We recommend this tour for anyone who wants to see the northern part of Taiwan, but doesn’t want to be stressed with how to get there and what to do.

I booked Klook for a day tour in Taiwan’s famous tourist spots for my family. Our tour guide is Xiao-Hei and he was PERFECT!! He made sure that the tour experience was great even if there was rain. He took a lot of beautiful pictures and was very kind to us. He was very knowledgeable in every place we went to and even shared the history and facts for each place we went to. We had fun listening to Xiao-Hei because he knew everything about Taiwan and what are the best stores we can buy from.
