It's a lot of fun, but very crowded. It's better to go on a weekday. There are many nice statues. It's a great place to take pictures, and there's a pop-up shop in the back.

The Taiwan High Speed Rail (THSR) travel package, combined with dining vouchers (spicy chicken soup with green chili peppers, and Sichuan pepper sesame noodles), is convenient, cost-effective, and a great value. I've returned multiple times!
