Transport in Nantou

smooth travel from Taipei to Taichung~ we get to visit the Capoo House and Foamcat Cafe. Enjoyed Miyahara and Old Taichung Station which also has another Foamcat Cafe. We really enjoyed our day trip!

The trip was very comfortable and we were able to go to a lot of places in just 1 day. 小鬼 took really great pictures of us and gave ample time for each destination. It was a wise choice taking this tour since we're in the area for a short period only. We also got to try different foods. Thank you so much!

The Tainan-Xiaogang Airport Express Line is really convenient, with many pick-up/drop-off points. The bus arrives on time, and the driver thoughtfully reminds you to be careful getting on and off. It's comfortable and stable, and the large luggage storage area is very spacious. There are no limits on the number of pieces or weight of luggage. Highly recommended!

I bought this to travel all over Taiwan collecting Dragon Quest Walk souvenirs. I had my ticket issued in Hsinchu and took a local train to Taichung. When I asked the station attendant how to upgrade to a limited express ticket, they told me to just buy a new ticket. Later, I was able to upgrade to a limited express ticket at other stations, so either the Taichung station attendant was mistaken, or they didn't understand me well because their English wasn't very good, and I ended up paying an extra ¥2500 unnecessarily. But even with that, I think I still came out ahead, so it's fine. Furthermore, with unlimited subway rides in Taipei, I was able to take buses to Jiufen and the National Palace Museum, so the only other transportation costs I incurred during the trip were for local buses in other areas. I think it's a pretty good pass.

Driver was very punctual and we negotiated pickup and drop off spots. He took us to the location to board boats at Sun Moon Lake and helped us with aligning an itinerary that worked for us. The return trip was good as well.

we were informed a day before about the pickup arrangements. on the day itself, we informed contact that we are already in the pickup area, although it was earlier than the designated time. driver came out looking for us. driver was courteous and skilled in driving. i spoke to him in Mandarin and Taigi, but i think he also understands English.

We truly enjoyed this private tour! 😁 Our guide, Calvin, was incredibly kind and professional. His driving was very smooth and comfortable, even on the zigzag roads going to Sun Link Sea, we felt safe and relaxed the whole time. He's also great at taking photos, which made the trip even more memorable. 😁The tour was well-paced, stress free, and very enjoyable from start to finish. We would definitely book him again on our next trip to Taiwan. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable private tour experience! 😁

the driver was just not very friendly because of the language barrier but it was definitely a fast and smooth ride. he was also 10 minutes early from the time we suggested and he messaged me the night before to confirm the booking

Our driver arrived 15 minutes early. Our driver, 小楊 (Yang), always helped us get in and out of the car, which we really appreciated. I also forgot to include two locations in the Changhua itinerary I sent beforehand, but he accommodated them very well without any issue. He even recommended a really delicious rou bao (肉包) near Lukang Longshan Temple—after tasting it, we ended up buying a whole box to eat at the hotel. Communication via LINE was smooth and easy. He also played great music during the drive; I honestly wish I knew his playlist. We had a very pleasant and comfortable drive to and from Lukang. Highly recommended.
