Things to do in Fukuoka Prefecture

We had an amazing experience on this one-day tour covering Mount Aso, Kusasenri, and Takachiho Gorge. Everything was thoughtfully planned and well-paced, so the day felt relaxed rather than rushed. There was enough time at each stop to explore, enjoy the views, and take photos without pressure. Our guide, Jimmy Liu, really made the difference. He was extremely attentive and proactive, giving important reminders before each activity and sharing useful tips and tricks along the way. He was also very impressive in how smoothly he switched between Chinese and English, making communication clear and effortless for everyone in the group. Each destination was breathtaking on its own, but with Jimmy’s guidance, the trip felt even more special and stress-free. I booked the trip last minute so I wasn’t able to get the boat ride but I’d suggest to get that option if you can cause the waterfalls look breathtaking.

We had such a memorable day today visiting Dazaifu Shrine, Beppu Ropeway and the charming Yufuin town. Our guide Ella’s dedication and thoughtfulness truly elevated the experience. Huge appreciation to our amazing driver whose navigation was impeccable.

I was impressed with today's tour. The guide was lovely and attentively took care of everyone with patience. The bus driver was also lovely. Both of them were punctual. I would like to recommend that everyone who decides to purchase a tour also be punctual. Today, there were many people who were late, but both of them remained calm and performed their duties to the best of their abilities.

I was the only Thai person in this tour group. I booked about a day before the actual trip. On the day of the trip, everyone was on time and very respectful of shared spaces. Although this trip was mainly conducted in Chinese (of course, I didn't understand), guide Kong was attentive and communicated via Line to explain the trip and switched to English to speak to me periodically. He helped take photos and recommended key points. Overall, I was very impressed with this trip. It's one of the best memories of my Japan trip. Highly recommended!

We chose Course B because Kumamoto Castle was within personal visiting distance. First of all, thank you to guides Jungwoo and Mao. Guide Jungwoo provided guidance in Korean and Chinese, and Guide Mao provided guidance in English and Japanese. Thank you so much for providing guidance in 4 languages. And thank you for your kind and very detailed guidance. The course was in the order of Mount Aso crater, Kusasenri, Aso Shrine, and Kurokawa Onsen. We were given an hour and a half in Kurokawa Onsen, but I wish we had a little more time. I thought it might be better to spend a little less time at Aso Shrine. Because there isn't much to see in Kurokawa Onsen town, but there are cute shops and a delicious cream puff store, so I spent more than 40 minutes walking around. So I couldn't take a bath in the hot spring. The parking lot was a bit far away, so I was worried about being late, so I couldn't take a bath. ㅠ If you want to take a bath, I recommend taking a bath for about 30 minutes first, and then spending the rest of your time looking around. We plan to use it again next time we come. Guide Jungwoo, Guide Mao, always be healthy. Thank you ^^

Our tour guide Daisy was the best! I’m a solo traveler so I followed her most of the time but she gives free time to all. She was very patient, caring, and overall hands-on to the group. Her cheerful energy made the hiking fun :)

Uminonakamichi Seaside Park is a comprehensive attraction perfect for families, offering a wide variety of facilities. We recommend dedicating at least a full day to fully experience it. Within the park, there's the adorable Animal Forest area, allowing visitors to get up close with small animals. The amusement park rides are suitable for all ages and filled with a joyful atmosphere. There's also an educational museum where you can expand your knowledge. The parent-child interaction areas are thoughtfully designed, making it ideal for bringing children to play. You can also rent bicycles in the park and enjoy a leisurely time riding along the coastline, admiring the beautiful sea view. If time permits, we recommend visiting the nearby Marine World aquarium to see spectacular dolphin shows and a diverse range of marine life. Overall, the ticket prices are quite reasonable and affordable, and the interactive nature of the various facilities is high. Whether it's a date for couples, a family outing, or a trip with friends, it's perfect and definitely a must-visit, high-quality attraction in Kyushu.

Fukuoka Tower offers stunning panoramic views of the city and Hakata Bay. The observation deck is spacious and well-maintained, making it a relaxing place to take photos and enjoy the scenery. The experience was smooth and well-organised, and the views alone make it worth the visit. Highly recommended for first-time visitors to Fukuoka or anyone wanting to see the city from a different perspective.
