Welcome the newest kid in town! Recently opened in February 2023, SplashMania is Malaysia's latest water park and is home to 39 different attractions, including first-of-its-kind water slides! The park is located within Gamuda Cove, with the Kuala Lumpur International Airport situated pretty close-by.
You can easily spot the park from afar with its iconic giant pirate ship, standing tall and proud! Our most anticipated ride here would definitely be Atlantis VR, Malaysia's very first VR water slide, as well as the Shaka Waka, a 78-metre-long water slide with customisable LED light effects and music for an immersive ride down.

We definitely had to include one of the best water parks in East Malaysia on our list. Also known as the Kuching Water Park amongst the locals, the Borneo Samariang Water Park is located in Sarawak and is the largest theme park in the state.

Built across a 35-acre land surrounded by a mangrove forest, the water park is split into 4 major sections - the Water Park Entrance, Hornbill Islang, Salak Beach and Santubong Tower Slides. Our personal favourite attractions are the slides at the Santubong Tower, where you get to choose from 6 exciting slides including the spine-tingling Sky Drop Slide.

17. Bukit Merah Laketown Waterpark
Many locals have grown up going to the Bukit Merah Laketown Waterpark, and it remains till today one of the best water parks in Malaysia. The large waterpark spans across 11 acres, and is just an hour's drive away from the city of Ipoh, Perak.
There are over 14 exciting water attractions for you and your loved ones to enjoy while you're here, including the Crazee Cone (our personal favourite) and the Racer Slides. Many visitors would also drop by the Ecopark, their very own mini zoo where you'll get to interact with animals for an educational experience!
