COVID-19 Precautionary Measures At Skytropolis

Itching to plan your Genting adventure at Skytropolis, yet unsure whether it's safe to head over? Well, stash away your worries as the Resorts World team has established clear health and safety measures at the theme park to maintain the highest level of precaution in ensuring the safety of all visitors! Here’s what you can expect during your next visit:
- Face masks are compulsory to be worn and also available for sale at nearby premises.
- Reduced daily ticketed capacity for social distancing and better guest experience.
- Clear markers or signages installed at every queue line.
- Custom plans and seating arrangements to minimise contact on all attractions.
- Proximity control measures enforced for all visitor interactions with Skytropolis staff.
- Hygiene stations and hand sanitiser dispensers are available around attractions for use.
- Enhanced cleaning and sanitisation will be carried out throughout the day.

The standard operating hours at Skytropolis are as follows:

The best time for you to visit Skytropolis would definitely be on off-peak days, which are the weekdays. Chances are there would be a smaller crowd which means less queue time and instead, more time to go on attractions you want to try out instead.
#KlookTip: Skytropolis Funland is a rather large place to explore despite the theme park being indoors. With its many attractions, we would recommend allocating at least four hours for your trip here so you don’t have to rush through the attractions, especially if you’re visiting with children!
Skytropolis Ticket Price

As Skytropolis operates on a pay-per-ride basis, this means that entrance into the park itself is FREE. Visit the theme park and you can spend as much time in the area at no cost. As you stroll past each attraction, you can choose to pay for only those you’d like to try out specifically.
The rates for each ride at Skytropolis are as follows:
- Weekdays: RM10
- Weekends, public holidays, eve of public holidays, school holidays: RM15
If you’re planning to try out many, if not all, of their attractions, we would definitely recommend getting Skytropolis' 1-day unlimited pass. With the pass, you can go on all available attractions for as many times as you’d like!
Skytropolis Theme Park Map
Spanning over 400,000 square feet and four-storeys high, the Skytropolis Funland is undeniably large for an indoor theme park. Divided into three categories - Child, Family and Thrill - all attractions are spread across the floor, specifically designed with bright lights and striking movements that give the whole area lively vibes of a futuristic cyberpunk metropolis.

A clear pathway cuts through the middle of the entire park, making it easier for visitors to wander through and simply enjoy the sights that the park has to offer. Mega large LED screens line the walls and even along the ceiling! You can also take a break and recharge yourself at the multiple F&B kiosks available in the theme park, serving a range of yummy treats and hearty meals.

Child Rides

Kick start the adventure for your kids at the Jumping Spurs, a mini-jumping tower with mild drops and climbs suitable for children. Kids looking for another fun, bumpy ride can also go for the Boo Boo Bump - a kid-friendly spin on the classic bumper cars with miniature mobiles for them to drive in.

Bring the children on a fantasy ride as they sit on animals merrily spinning around at the Ride ‘Em Round carousel, or choose to speed things up a little with the Loop De Loop, which brings children rotating swiftly around a large illuminated Eiffel Tower.
Family Rides

Don’t worry, adults can join in the fun too as you go on rides with your kids, specially made for the whole family to enjoy. Take your experience to new heights, with multiple high-flying rides, such as the Skyscraper ferris wheel, a balloon ride at the Balloon Race, a Space Cadets spaceship ride, or the elegant Chariot Cruise that brings you around the park. Our favourite is the Soaring Ships, a suspended ride offering a beautiful, aerial view of the park. You can also take a charming tour around a picturesque garden as you hop on the Copper Express vintage train.

Get things spinning as you and your family visit the Royal Carousel, a magnificent double-storey carousel that is adorned with ornamented horses and regal chariots that brings you on a magical journey round and round. Pump your adrenaline a little with the colourful Tea Cups, a family-friendly oversized tea cup ride that will bring your family members swirling and twirling around each other.
Thrill Rides

For the brave who are seeking a little more thrill in the attractions, fret not! Skytropolis has exactly what you need for that pump of adrenaline. Start strong with the Disco!, a huge spinning disc that swings you back-and-forth with increasing speed while rotating rapidly. Those who need to tone it down a little more can opt for a fun bumper car ride at the Bumper Boss instead, or the equally exhilarating Music Express that whirls you round and round, with turbulent spins and backward motion.
If you’ve got a much braver heart, we definitely recommend the most intense ride (and the most exciting!) in Skytropolis - the Spin Crazy. This gigantic spinning pendulum will take you on a gut-twisting, 360-degree spin up in the air. Other must-tries in the park for adrenaline junkies would be the Sky Towers, a drop tower ride that plummets at gravity-defying speeds, or the high-flying Power Surge ride that brings you on a wild journey in circles and upside down.
How To Get To Skytropolis Genting

This fun park is conveniently located in the First World Plaza shopping centre and adjacent to SkyAvenue, the latest lifestyle mall at Genting Highlands. Skytropolis is hard to miss - just take the escalators or elevators from wherever you are to Level 1, where you would find the theme park with all its colourful lights.

To get here, you can take a 10-minute Awana SkyWay cable car ride up to SkyAvenue Station. Drive up and leave your car at the Awana SkyCentral car park (adjoining Genting Highlands Premium Outlets) and catch a cable car at the Awana Station. Alternatively, you can take an express bus up which will drop you off at the terminal near Awana Station as well. You can refer to the available bus rides here.
Choose between a Standard Gondola or Glass Floor Gondola when you book your ride through Klook!
Alternatively (if heights make you queasy), you can take the complimentary shuttle service provided by Resorts World instead. Take a ride from the Awana Bus Terminal to Awana Hotel, then hop onto another shuttle bus which takes you straight up to First World Hotel from there. You can refer to the shuttle bus schedule here.
