Things To Do At The Taaras Beach & Spa Resort
1. Scuba diving And snorkelling

Pulau Redang is one of the best spots for scuba diving and snorkelling in Malaysia. Put on your gear and swim alongside reef sharks, stingrays, brilliantly-coloured fishes, moray eels, octopus, and colourful coral reefs. There are also a variety of unique diving sites dotted across the island including shipwrecks in the area - so be sure to check those out! The resort provides diving gear rental service and guided diving packages for your convenience, so you don't have to worry about all that.
2. Hang out with gentle sea turtles

Spot sea turtles from the resort's beach - you can even swim with them if you want! The Taaras is also a strong advocate of sea turtle conservation and is home to the SEATRU Turtle Lab that was launched in 2018 to educate guests on the plight of sea turtles. Fun fact: the lab is managed by the resort's very own marine biologist! If you visit during the hatching season between June to October, you will even get to experience hatchlings being released into the sea.
3. Head out to the sea in a clear-bottom kayak

Normal kayaking is boring, but you can take it up a notch at The Taaras by checking out the sea from one of the clear-bottom kayaks available for rental! This way you can dress nicely and explore the ocean without getting wet. 😉 We recommend trying this activity in the months of March to October when the waters are usually calmer.
