Taipei: Purple Yam Rose Cream Cheese 5-inch DIY Experience
Taro is not unique to Taiwan, but it is the most authentic ingredient for Taiwanese desserts. However, traditional Chinese desserts are generally heavy on oil and sugar. Therefore, we use traditional methods to make taro puree combined with Western cake techniques, taking the best of both worlds to develop the Purple Taro Rose. This dessert is my most delicate interpretation of the taste of home.
🔸Which ingredients can be used in special buttercream, which cannot, and what are their properties? 🔸Positioning and theory of taro puree cake 🔸Production ratios and precautions 🔸Why oil and water separation occurs and remedies 🔸Advantages and disadvantages of special buttercream 🔸Applications of cream and taro puree
The above are the theoretical aspects that will be explained in class! The following are the key practical techniques:
🔹How to make rare cheesecake 🔹How to make taro puree buttercream 🔹Gelatin classification and application 🔹Special buttercream color matching issues 🔹Practicing force control with large roses
✳️For the hands-on portion, the instructor will make slight adjustments based on the students' on-site situation.

The teacher is very attentive in teaching. I have no experience in making cakes, but I can still make a beautiful rose cheese cake. I highly recommend everyone to learn beautiful and creative artistic cakes~
I had such a fun time baking! 🧁 The whole experience was super enjoyable from start to finish. Mixing the ingredients, watching everything come together, and seeing the cake rise in the oven was so satisfying. I didn’t feel stressed at all—the steps were easy to follow, and it actually made me feel more confident in the kitchen. The best part was learning to do pipping of the rose. Although it’s tedious but practice make prefect. I loved the process so much that I’m already thinking about what to bake next.
