What to expect
A winding boardwalk along the Yarra River. Narrow backstreets colored with graffiti. Melbourne sits at the intersection of the historic and the contemporary, sophistication and creativity. Australia’s second-biggest city was built on hard work and gold during the 19th century, and over the past two centuries, it has drawn miners, activists, entrepreneurs, and artists alike from around the world. Today, Melbourne is an eclectic melting pot shaped by international influences and is Australia’s thriving hub for culture, gastronomy, and art.
Downtown Melbourne, locally known as the CBD, is easy to navigate thanks to its grid system. Take your time and wander slowly through Melbourne’s colorful streets, where history and modernity sit side by side. Stroll down the wide streets of downtown, lined with beautiful buildings, trendy boutiques, and sophisticated eateries. Discover the creative heart of Melbourne tucked into its laneways that are buzzing with quirky cafes, chic wine bars, and colorful street art. Come experience for yourself why Melbourne was voted the most livable city in the world for seven years running.

Reviews
we were lucky to have Ben to ourselves, great walkabouts
The tour itself was good. The guide was very knowledgeable and easy to understand. He explained things to us in a friendly manner. However, they tried to change the time on the day without our permission (we negotiated with them and said we didn't want them to change it because we had other plans), and the disbanding place was not near Flinders Street Station as we had originally been told, but a little further away. I wish the guide had explained that we couldn't go back, and we were finally able to return to the station, but at the time, I felt uneasy. I think it's common for plans to be a bit arbitrary in foreign countries.
