Great resort. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious, neat and tidy. However we were disappointed that wakeboarding was not available when we wanted to have some water sports activities. Overall, a decent resort

comfortable hotel with great location to grand Batam mall, BCS mall and various massages and salons area. many food options nearby too. sound proofing could be better but not too big of an issue. overall, great stay with a good variety of hotel breakfast too, will come back

our room looks like old due to the door of the toilet cannot be closed properly, the sliding door going to the pool so hard to close. cleanliness also could improve. it looks like the bed did not change the mattress and duvet. but the staff are very accommodating.

It was a great stay at Batam View! Great food at Wangi Melati Cafe and breakfast buffet was really worth it. Would definitely come back to try out the activities :) Shuttle bus from Nongsapura Ferry Terminal was very convenient too! Highly recommended!!

This hotel continues to offer excellent value for money thanks to its prime location within walking distance of BCS Mall, Grand Batam Mall, A2 Food Court, and numerous massage outlets. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, the shower has excellent water pressure, and breakfast has improved significantly since my last stay. However, the property is clearly showing its age and is overdue for refurbishment. The biggest drawback is the underperforming air-conditioning, which struggles to cool the room adequately even at the lowest temperature setting. The minibar fridge is also ineffective, and some amenities, such as refillable bathroom dispensers and hand towels, would enhance the guest experience. Overall, despite its aging facilities, this remains a good budget-friendly option in a highly convenient location. If the hotel invests in renovations and upgrades its air-conditioning system, it would be an even stronger choice for future stays.

This is my second time staying at Grand Mercure Batam. The room was big, clean and comfortable. The staff also kind and helpfull. We will stay here again if visit Batam. Keep it up! 👍

It was a wonderful experience. The staff were energetic and friendly. During breakfast, there was a dance segment, and for guests celebrating their birthday on the actual day, the staff sang and presented a birthday cake, which pleasantly surprised and delighted my family. The hotel is conveniently located next to the pier, with a large shopping mall nearby.
