Kiyomizudera Temple tours

It’s been a very hot and humid weather but tour is worth it.

Our tour guide, who could switch between Chinese, Japanese, and English, and also spoke Korean, made sure every group member was taken care of. It was a huge benefit not having to research the history and stories of each attraction ourselves. They offered pre-ordered lunch, which allowed us more time to explore Kiyomizu-dera Temple and its surroundings, and the food was quite good. The itinerary was well-paced for the limited time (however, this tour is not suitable for travelers who prefer to savor sights slowly or spend a lot of time taking photos, as the time allotted for Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine doesn't allow for walking the entire Senbon Torii path!). The tour bus was clean and tidy, and the ride was smooth and steady. I'm prone to motion sickness and usually sleep on buses, and I didn't wake up due to poor driving.

We did the one day tour from Osaka to Kyoto w/ this tour and would absolutely recommend! Our guide, Millie, was very helpful and informative of the trip! She started the day off w/ an itinerary of what we’ll be doing all day. She also sent dropped pins on where we’re meeting back at each location which was super helpful so we didn’t have to guess where we’re going! Being able to see Kyoto in one day and not worrying about transportation was super nice and a very nice break for our feet!

Great day trip with Cali! She put together a fantastic itinerary and gave us some really interesting history lessons along the way. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience fun and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Shine was absolutely phenomenal and incredibly attentive. My cards were stolen on my transfer from Tokyo to Osaka and Shine ensured I still had a great time! Originally I planned on staying put until my flight home but decided to take the two hour walk to the meet up point and I am so glad I did! If I could give more stars I would. As a solo traveler, losing your access to funds is a huge burden. Today, Shine made me completely forget about this. He truly lives up to his name. I highly recommend his tours for solo travelers, families, and everyone in between. Money and time well spent. Infinite thank yous shine. We spent an amazing day discovering Kyoto with Ciel, from Kiyomizu-dera to Fushimi Inari and beyond. She kept the whole day flowing effortlessly and made the experience feel unique. Ciel’s English was perfect and her enthusiasm was contagious. She brought a fun, relaxed vibe while still sharing plenty of insights along the way. Highly recommended, thank you Ciel!

Last time, I visited Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto, so this time I went to places I hadn't seen before. It was just before a long holiday, so there weren't many people, and it was wonderfully peaceful and quiet! When you actually see it, it's not so much 'Wow, that's amazing!' but rather beautiful scenery, the path you walk while admiring that scenery, various photos taken at photo spots, and an unexpected seagull zoo feeding (making eye contact with seagulls and hawks). I didn't have high expectations, but it was fun! The only downside is that the travel time is a bit long if you depart from Osaka! However, our guide, MICA, explained many things about Japan so well and took such beautiful photos that I even changed my KakaoTalk profile picture for the first time in a while! 😄

Our tour guide, Mr. Hu, was very thorough and detailed, explaining each itinerary clearly. His historical explanations during the tour were very interesting, and he also gave us appropriate time to rest. This tour was well worth it and a lot of fun.
