Kyoto Nara Day Trip | Kiyomizu-dera Temple + Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine + Nara Park (Departing from Osaka/Kyoto)

Before my trip to Osaka, I started diligently searching for tours a month in advance, thinking that even though it's summer, I should experience the beauty and tours of traditional Japan. After watching vlogs and reading tour reviews, I found this particular tour, as many suggested that 'about three locations a day seems appropriate.' Our guide, Mr. Oh Seok-bong, led our tour, and I felt confident in his abilities when he introduced himself in various languages after we boarded the bus. He precisely highlighted the key cultural aspects of Japan and the main points of interest at each location, allowing us to efficiently visit the places we wanted to see! The tour concluded as a satisfying experience, thanks to his restaurant recommendations and engaging commentary throughout. This Kyoto and Nara tour was a trip I took with my mother. We spent the previous day in Kyoto and then booked the tour. Since our itinerary for the next day was to go to Osaka, we were able to arrange for luggage transfer, which made our journey to Osaka very comfortable. Our guide for this tour was Mika, and thanks to her passionate explanations and kind consideration, we had a relaxing and enjoyable time throughout the trip. It wasn't just about seeing the sights; she made the trip even more meaningful by explaining the history and hidden stories of each place in an easy-to-understand way. She also thoughtfully recommended great restaurants in Osaka, places frequented by locals, and hidden attractions, allowing us to make the most of our free time. My mother was also very satisfied with how comfortably Mika took care of us during our travels. Thanks to Mika, our guide, who possessed both kindness and passion, I was able to create another precious memory with my mother. Thank you!

During my day trip to Kyoto and Nara, I met a truly unforgettable guide. The itinerary included Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Fushimi Inari Shrine, and Nara Park. It was a tour with a large group, so much so that the bus was completely full. Our guide didn't even have a seat, but throughout the entire journey, they stood and fascinatingly explained Japan's history, culture, and local life without ever showing any signs of fatigue. Beyond just explaining the tourist sites, the guide naturally engaged in conversations with each guest, creating a wonderful atmosphere. They even showed thoughtful consideration by providing snacks to the young children. Thanks to them, the long travel time was not boring at all. Furthermore, they generously shared vivid information accumulated from living in Osaka, such as recommendations for restaurants, shopping, and transportation tips, which was incredibly helpful throughout the trip. Their sincere responses to every single question demonstrated a genuine care for travelers. They say a good guide can transform a trip's satisfaction, and this trip was exactly that. It was a journey where I not only enjoyed seeing the sights but was also deeply moved by a person. Guide Oh Seok-bong, thanks to you, my family and I had a truly enjoyable and meaningful day. This is a one-day tour I applied for because I wanted to visit Kyoto and Nara at the same time!!! Fushimi Inari Shrine was the place I most wanted to go, and it was as beautiful and grand as I imagined. Guide Oh Seok-bong gave us various tips and interesting stories during our travels and explained each location so well, making me feel like I made the right choice booking this tour. The eel rice bowl we had for lunch was delicious, and even though I couldn't buy senbei at Nara Park, I still had a great time playing with the deer, haha. I was so impressed by his passionate dedication throughout the long day, even though I didn't show it! Thank you so much, Guide Oh Seok-bong!!!! I'm going to recommend this to my friends who want to visit Kyoto and Nara together!!

Our tour guide, Rick, is fluent in both English and Mandarin. On the day of our tour, our group consisted of people from various countries around the world (I'm from Hong Kong, and from what I gathered, there were people from Italy, India, Taiwan, and other nations). Rick meticulously explained things to us and shared insights into Japanese culture and history in both languages throughout the entire trip. The itinerary was packed, and there were many foreign tourists and locals at each attraction, but every stop was perfectly arranged, saving us a lot of time. For those of us with limited travel days, being able to see so many sights and learn about the local culture was incredibly valuable. I will definitely join a one-day tour again next time! 😊

This bus tour was very fulfilling, comfortable, and enjoyable. The itinerary of this bus tour seems perfect for those who want to visit specific attractions and prefer a more relaxed pace. I'm especially grateful to our guide, Mr. Oh Seok-bong, who has lived in Japan for over 20 years. He passionately and realistically shared his diverse insights into the Japanese people and the country's pros and cons throughout the tour, making it a truly delightful and meaningful experience. The tour was made even more memorable when he even made a restaurant reservation for us at the end and offered to help with any small issues if we contacted him, which was very reassuring. While guides can vary, the course itself is excellent, so I highly recommend trying it. Have a wonderful trip!

Meet up time is Exactly 8:40am. We left Nipponbashi Exit 2. Always be on time. They won't wait for you. We took the bus, there were many tourists on board. We were happy and excited about the tour, we saw the beauty of Kyoto and Nara. I'm amazed until now. This is my first trip to Japan, and this time I came with my husband, his friend, and another couple, making five of us. My husband really wanted to see deer in Nara. After looking around, he said this tour seemed the best and insisted we book it. We met our guide, Mr. Oh Seok-bong, and on the bus, we got a lot of useful information, including restaurant recommendations. He also gave kind explanations throughout the tour, making it a great experience! 👍👍

Super enjoy this part of our honeymoon trip. Guide David is very good and shared lots of information. Gogoday trip is stress free and all sites are very pleasing to the eyes, very photogenic and relaxing to the soul. Highly recommended to everyone!
