Kiyomizudera Temple tours

It’s been a very hot and humid weather but tour is worth it.

We did the one day tour from Osaka to Kyoto w/ this tour and would absolutely recommend! Our guide, Millie, was very helpful and informative of the trip! She started the day off w/ an itinerary of what we’ll be doing all day. She also sent dropped pins on where we’re meeting back at each location which was super helpful so we didn’t have to guess where we’re going! Being able to see Kyoto in one day and not worrying about transportation was super nice and a very nice break for our feet!

Our tour guide, who could switch between Chinese, Japanese, and English, and also spoke Korean, made sure every group member was taken care of. It was a huge benefit not having to research the history and stories of each attraction ourselves. They offered pre-ordered lunch, which allowed us more time to explore Kiyomizu-dera Temple and its surroundings, and the food was quite good. The itinerary was well-paced for the limited time (however, this tour is not suitable for travelers who prefer to savor sights slowly or spend a lot of time taking photos, as the time allotted for Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine doesn't allow for walking the entire Senbon Torii path!). The tour bus was clean and tidy, and the ride was smooth and steady. I'm prone to motion sickness and usually sleep on buses, and I didn't wake up due to poor driving.

Great day trip with Cali! She put together a fantastic itinerary and gave us some really interesting history lessons along the way. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience fun and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Last time, I visited Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto, so this time I went to places I hadn't seen before. It was just before a long holiday, so there weren't many people, and it was wonderfully peaceful and quiet! When you actually see it, it's not so much 'Wow, that's amazing!' but rather beautiful scenery, the path you walk while admiring that scenery, various photos taken at photo spots, and an unexpected seagull zoo feeding (making eye contact with seagulls and hawks). I didn't have high expectations, but it was fun! The only downside is that the travel time is a bit long if you depart from Osaka! However, our guide, MICA, explained many things about Japan so well and took such beautiful photos that I even changed my KakaoTalk profile picture for the first time in a while! 😄

Our tour guide, Mr. Hu, was very thorough and detailed, explaining each itinerary clearly. His historical explanations during the tour were very interesting, and he also gave us appropriate time to rest. This tour was well worth it and a lot of fun.

We spent an amazing day discovering Kyoto with Ciel, from Kiyomizu-dera to Fushimi Inari and beyond. She kept the whole day flowing effortlessly and made the experience feel unique. Ciel’s English was perfect and her enthusiasm was contagious. She brought a fun, relaxed vibe while still sharing plenty of insights along the way. Highly recommended, thank you Ciel!

I think this is my first time leaving a review while using Klook. I am Korean and traveled alone. Overall, I am 100% satisfied. Although I rode with foreign tourists, there were a few other Koreans including myself, and it was so great that our guide, Lee Song-ran, explained everything in Korean. When I visited Amanohashidate back in May, it was during Golden Week, so I couldn't ride the lift ㅠㅠ I was nervous that I wouldn't be able to ride it this time either, but I was so happy it was easy to do so!! The water was so clean, and it was a feast for the eyes. Visiting the thatched-roof rural village early in the morning was great for a stroll. I tried the sweet potato donut that was recommended—it was hot and made a great, light breakfast. Going to Ine Funaya to watch the gulls and taking a walk in the tranquil countryside village was the best part of all. Also, the bus driver drove in a way that really relieved any frustration; his driving was simply the best!!! It was also nice that the guide took pictures for everyone on the bus tour whenever we arrived at a nice spot. If I visit again, I will definitely use Gogo Tour❤️
