The most memorable excursion, EIKANDO!! Ideally to be done when there are no crowds (which was the case for us on October 27th). Lunch near Sanzen-in (izakaya: "Kyoubijaya", please note cash only payment). Splendid Kifune!

This was my first time joining a KLOOK one-day tour, and from the start, I was impressed by our guide Liu Du's professionalism. He seamlessly switched between Chinese, English, and Japanese for the tour commentary (speaking with a gentle and refined local charm). Throughout the trip, he was very attentive and caring towards the group members, providing detailed explanations. He was also very clear about pick-up/drop-off points and time management. At the Lake Biwa observation deck, he recommended we take the second cable car up to the very top to enjoy 360-degree views, and also suggested trying Omi beef steak, among other things. All of these experiences left us with wonderful memories of Kyoto. Thank you, Liu Du, and thank you, KLOOK, for such a fantastic tour. We look forward to seeing you again next time!

This was a great small group tour. We didn't have to carry our luggage; it could be stored in the trunk, and the driving time wasn't long. The driver-guide had an excellent service attitude and allowed us enough time at each stop. The night before, they individually confirmed the meeting and pickup times with everyone and reminded us not to be late, which was very thoughtful. On the day of the tour, they were also very punctual. As we approached the hotel, they specifically messaged us in advance to let us know we could wait at the hotel entrance, which was very considerate. Along the way, the driver-guide explained the history, characteristics, and important notes for each attraction, helping us to explore them more effectively. The three attractions were well-connected and all very impressive, with beautiful scenery that my family also loved. For those staying in Osaka, traveling to Kyoto can be a bit far, so this day trip is very suitable. I would definitely recommend it to friends!

Overall it was a good and enjoyable experience for me. I'm a Thai solo traveller. Since these places are difficult to go by public transportation so this tour is convenient. Though this tour members were mainly Chinese, the Guide Zoey still supported and tried to look out for English speaking members as best as she can. Personally, I like Biwako Valley, Umikado, and La Collina. It was a shame that the day I went with the tour(5 Nov), the top of the mountain was foggy so everyone couldn't see the Biwa lake view from up there but fortunately we see the Lake when we rode the cable. Umikado Temple is peaceful & relaxing. La collina is a nice place too. Shirahige Shrine is okay. It's beautiful but it's a little bit small and nothing much to see.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience on the tour. Special thanks to our tour guide, 郑雅菲, for her guidance, and to the bus driver for ensuring a safe and smooth journey throughout our day trip. Although the weather wasn’t ideal, with rain and mist throughout the day, we still appreciated the opportunity to take the ropeway, walk across the Sky Bridge, and capture beautiful photos along the way. Overall, we had an enjoyable experience and truly appreciate the efforts of the tour guide and bus driver. Thank you!

It was my first experience with klook and I couldn't be happier. Even if it was rainy the whole day, we could enjoy the itinerary as described thanks to Effy. She was amazing, she explained everything and was always ready to answer other questions and doubts. I would totally recommend 🌱

Our tour guide was Ms. Effy Ya-fei, who speaks Mandarin, English, and Japanese. She was very patient with our questions, and her communication was clear and well-organized. She thoughtfully sent an email before departure with her contact information, and on the day of the tour, she kept us updated via a messaging app group. Before arriving at each attraction, she would give us helpful tips on what to look out for. We were all very satisfied with the arrangements 👍🏻

Fantastic 5.0
Last time, I visited Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto, so this time I went to places I hadn't seen before. It was just before a long holiday, so there weren't many people, and it was wonderfully peaceful and quiet! When you actually see it, it's not so much 'Wow, that's amazing!' but rather beautiful scenery, the path you walk while admiring that scenery, various photos taken at photo spots, and an unexpected seagull zoo feeding (making eye contact with seagulls and hawks). I didn't have high expectations, but it was fun! The only downside is that the travel time is a bit long if you depart from Osaka! However, our guide, MICA, explained many things about Japan so well and took such beautiful photos that I even changed my KakaoTalk profile picture for the first time in a while! 😄
