Hotels near Meiti Riverside Park

Staying at the Grand Hotel Taipei felt like stepping into living history. It is one of those rare places where the walls seem as though they could speak. The hotel carries a remarkable sense of gravity and connection to the past, while still being exceptionally clean and well maintained. I would especially like to thank Jenny at reception. My Chinese is quite poor, but she was incredibly patient in helping me choose the right room. She was also very understanding of my grandmother’s mobility issues and took the time to tailor her recommendations thoughtfully and professionally. In an era where genuine customer service feels increasingly rare, Jenny was exemplary. In fact, she is the reason I felt compelled to leave this review, which is something I do not usually do. Thank you for such a memorable stay.

It's very comfortable, and after soaking, there's no unpleasant sulfur smell on you ☺️ The soundproofing is decent; I didn't hear any overly loud noises. It's really good 👍 You don't have to go far; there's a relaxing place like this right in the city center!

The hotel is understated yet tasteful, and very close to the MRT station. Shilin Night Market is about a 10-minute walk away. Unfortunately, there aren't many convenience stores nearby; the closest one is a small store inside the MRT station. The hotel service is excellent, and the overall cleaning is neat and tidy (though there were hairs from other guests in the bathtub and stains under the living room sofa pillows). The hotel's amenities are high-end and unique; it would be helpful to provide more instructions on how to use them to reduce the time guests spend figuring things out. It's a shame that the main TV in the Tianxi Suite and the bathroom TV are not smart TVs, so you can't watch YouTube or Netflix. Also, the provided massage chair wasn't very effective.

The accommodations are generously proportioned, and the complimentary beverages, including a delightful tea selection, are provided in abundance. The only downside is that the hallway looks a little old.

The location is very convenient, just a few minutes from the Brown Line metro. The neighborhood is very clean and beautiful. The service is impeccable and very attentive. The hostesses were lovely. I will come back with my family :)

BEST HOTEL. Big room, clean sheets, smells nice, comfortable bed, automated toilet bowl. Free snacks, coffee, juice, beer at Basement 1. Oani Hotel is in the middle (2-3 mins walk) of Hi Life, 7/11, Family Mart, Cosmed & around 5 local food stores & 2 train exits. Coffe shop annex at the front desk. Ximending walking district is across the street around 5 mins walk. You can go down the train station to cross from Oani Hotel to Ximending walking district (vice versa) if it is raining.

It was an amazing experience to stay in this hotel. Aside from a good spot location and beautiful spots. The receptionist are also accommodating and very friendly especailly Olivia who patiently attend our needs and request. We are planning to come back in Taiwan next year and will definitely come back to this Hotel🤗

Thank you to the front desk staff for their warm hospitality and friendliness during my stay. The room was spacious and comfortable; it's hard to get a good night's sleep when traveling, so thank you so much for arranging such a wonderful room! Breakfast included delicious fish sandwiches and a buffet drink bar. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Taipei. By the way, it's very close to Shandao Temple MRT station, making it convenient to go anywhere.
