The location is excellent, right next to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. The staff are very lovely and friendly. The room is very spacious, and the price is affordable compared to other hotels of similar room size. There's a convenience store right in front, and you just need to cross the street to find it. Overall, I'm impressed and will definitely come back again.

Staying at the Grand Hotel Taipei felt like stepping into living history. It is one of those rare places where the walls seem as though they could speak. The hotel carries a remarkable sense of gravity and connection to the past, while still being exceptionally clean and well maintained.
I would especially like to thank Jenny at reception. My Chinese is quite poor, but she was incredibly patient in helping me choose the right room. She was also very understanding of my grandmother’s mobility issues and took the time to tailor her recommendations thoughtfully and professionally.
In an era where genuine customer service feels increasingly rare, Jenny was exemplary. In fact, she is the reason I felt compelled to leave this review, which is something I do not usually do.
Thank you for such a memorable stay.

It was an amazing experience to stay in this hotel. Aside from a good spot location and beautiful spots. The receptionist are also accommodating and very friendly especailly Olivia who patiently attend our needs and request. We are planning to come back in Taiwan next year and will definitely come back to this Hotel🤗

Opened in 2023, Taipei Jiantan Pulu Hotel is conveniently located near Jiantan MRT Station, meaning it's not far from Shilin Night Market. It offers underground parking for compact cars (with a height limit of 1.9 meters), and the rooms are brand new. Plus, there's a women's large public bath, and with its affordable prices, it's definitely an excellent choice in Taipei City!

Hotel is very clean and the ambiance is very luxury. Receptionists are very kind and helpful, they even help us to book for a taxi. Location is very great since nearby in Cities and MRT. There's complementary breakfast at the RF. Overall, we have amazing experience.

The hotel is conveniently located near MRT stations (Taipei Main/NTU Hospital for red line and Beimen/Ximen for green line). It is also a short distance walk to main tourist sites like Ximending district, CKS Memorial Hall, and Presidential Office Bldg. The room is not big nor too small. Just enough to fit two luggages. They also have buffet breakfast with many dishes to choose and every day they change the main courses. Added to the good food, the drinks are unlimited all day every day!

I had a great stay at Hotel Papa Whale. The building design was really unique and different, but I actually liked its style and overall vibe. My room was spacious enough and had all the basic things I needed for a comfortable stay. Just a small reminder: bring your own toothpaste and toothbrush, or buy some nearby if you didn’t pack any.
The location was also very convenient — around a 6-minute walk to the Ximen area, which made it easy to explore, shop, and eat. There are also multiple 7-Eleven stores nearby, so it was very easy to grab snacks, drinks, or anything else I needed.
Overall, it was a comfortable and convenient stay, and I’d recommend it especially if you want to be near Ximending.

Hotel Location: Very convenient, right above Taipei Main Station Exit Z2/Z4, just behind the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi department store.
Transportation Convenience: Located right at Taipei Main Station, with multiple MRT transfer lines and bus stops, making it extremely convenient.
Cleanliness: The staff does an excellent job with cleaning. However, perhaps due to high humidity and the older building, there are always a few small insects in the room.
