It was easy to retrieve our tickets - just scan the barcode at the ticket office and the staff will run you through what you need to do before hopping on the boat . The cruise itself is very pleasant ride and spacious. For man's O war. Pack a picnic for the day and you can relax on the sand and enjoy the water . The winery itself is phenomenal the staff are friendly and the food is amazing.

A great option for enjoying the scenery from Auckland to Wellington in the winter! Although the total journey is 11 hours, the time flies by as you admire the beautiful scenery outside the window, chat with friends, and occasionally take photos in the observation car at the back; if you travel in winter, you might even catch a beautiful sunset over the coast in the last section. During the journey, you can download an app (in English) for audio commentary, and each person has 5GB of free Wi-Fi. There's a carriage selling drinks and light meals (but you can also bring your own snacks).

This small group tour was great with two very friendly and interesting guides to drive us through the amazing region of Auckland, Cambridge, Hamilton and Waitomo. The journey to the first stop in the Alexander Farm in Watamata to get to the movie set Hobbiton was extraordinary accross the countryside, with our two guides full of anecdotes about the history of the land. The visit of the movie set itself, with a great guide, was incredible, with a story to every Hobbit hole of the set and many fun stories of the behind the scenes of the movie shooting. The visit ends with the exploration of two remodeled Hobbit holes in which it is so fun to take photos among the furnitures. The Hobbiton tour is followed with a drink at the tavern the Green Dragon. After the movie set, it was fine having a well deserved lunch at a local authentic restaurant, and to the next step: the exploration of the mysterious Waitomo Glowworm Caves, a wonder of NZ, with a passionate local guide. QR code was easy to Scan. You will be greeted by a staff member that will scan your QR code from your mobile device and they will give you a ticket to show the driver for when you hop on and off . The bus sign is easy to find when waiting for the service .

Great trip to both hobbiton movie set and the waitomo glowworm caves. It was a awesome experience and we do enjoy ourself at both location. Jaime was nice and friendly too!
