Fantastic 5.0
this is well and TRUELY a must stay. if I were to recommend anything, it’s booking this hotel - the staff are unbelievably kind, the hotel is equipped with everything you need during a stay, and the location is PRIME - right next to Mt. Fuji station. We booked this hotel blind, and to say it exceeded our expectations is an understatement. There’s so much thought and attention to detail put into this hotel, artwork, pieces on history, textile information. Not to mention its brand new! We had direct mt Fuji views right from the hotel room and also from the rooftop deck!! My husband and I loved it to much we booked another night that same day. I honestly cant speak highly enough of this hotel. Thank you to the manager and the lovely staff at the hotel, it was truely a pleasure! You’ve made our stay worth forever remembering :)

Fantastic 5.0
An amazing hot spring hotel with rooms that overlook Fuji-Q Highland and Mount Fuji 🗻, simply perfect. The main point is the bed is very comfortable 😁 and the bathroom is quite large. There's also a bathhouse on the top floor where you can take a bath ~ super warm.

Fantastic 5.0
the stay was fantastic with a great view of mt Fuji, place is also clean and they provide towels for the duration of the stay. Facilities were also adequate with 2 shower and a bath tub. However, do note that for those that are driving, the access road to the villa is quite narrow.

Fantastic 5.0
This is a beautiful hotel. The room and facilities looked high-end. Delicious breakfast buffet with a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji. Excellent shuttle service. We also loved the free activities when we stayed here, like the Fujiyama observatory, and access to Fuji-Q highlands.

Fantastic 5.0
Everything was good. Even having free onsen for stay in guests. One thing that disappointed me was, I booked room with Mt Fuji view. I am OK if I were informed upfront during check in. Not when I checked in the room only realise it was not the room type I booked.

Great 4.0
I enjoyed the nice beds and warm sheets, the tub and shower, the shared kitchen space with children’s toys for my daughter. the nook next to the window. my only complain was the check in process. I never got an email or link to fill out the passport information. so don’t get the passcode to the door. luckily another group had the same problem so someone physically came to help us. value for money was good. 30 minute walk to Chureito Pagoda.

More about Fujiyoshida hotels

Staying in Fujiyoshida: what to expect

Stays in Fujiyoshida span a modest price range — the priciest rooms run a bit more than twice the cost of the most affordable — so you can move from budget to splurge without an extreme jump. The best balance for value-conscious travellers tends to be the standard tier, where comfort and cost meet in the middle.

How hotel tiers stack up and who they suit

Economy rooms sit at the entry level and are the most affordable option, appealing to travellers focused on keeping costs down. Standard rooms represent the sweet spot and are the best value for most visitors, offering noticeably more comfort than economy without a large premium. The biggest step up in price comes when moving from standard to premium, so choosing to upgrade should be weighed against how much extra comfort you need. Premium rooms sit at the top end of local offerings and suit travellers who prioritise extra space or amenities and are willing to pay more for it.

When travellers from Australia typically book and why

Australian travellers often book around five to six weeks ahead, with many locking in their room roughly 38 days before arrival and some booking even earlier. Rates are typically lowest in June and highest in April; if your trip is budget-led, aim for June when nightly rates tend to be the most affordable. Rooms here are commonly reserved more than a month ahead, especially if you’re travelling in the priciest month.
