Fantastic 5.0
this is well and TRUELY a must stay. if I were to recommend anything, it’s booking this hotel - the staff are unbelievably kind, the hotel is equipped with everything you need during a stay, and the location is PRIME - right next to Mt. Fuji station. We booked this hotel blind, and to say it exceeded our expectations is an understatement. There’s so much thought and attention to detail put into this hotel, artwork, pieces on history, textile information. Not to mention its brand new! We had direct mt Fuji views right from the hotel room and also from the rooftop deck!! My husband and I loved it to much we booked another night that same day. I honestly cant speak highly enough of this hotel. Thank you to the manager and the lovely staff at the hotel, it was truely a pleasure! You’ve made our stay worth forever remembering :)

Fantastic 5.0
An amazing hot spring hotel with rooms that overlook Fuji-Q Highland and Mount Fuji 🗻, simply perfect. The main point is the bed is very comfortable 😁 and the bathroom is quite large. There's also a bathhouse on the top floor where you can take a bath ~ super warm.

Fantastic 5.0
the stay was fantastic with a great view of mt Fuji, place is also clean and they provide towels for the duration of the stay. Facilities were also adequate with 2 shower and a bath tub. However, do note that for those that are driving, the access road to the villa is quite narrow.

Fantastic 5.0
This is a beautiful hotel. The room and facilities looked high-end. Delicious breakfast buffet with a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji. Excellent shuttle service. We also loved the free activities when we stayed here, like the Fujiyama observatory, and access to Fuji-Q highlands.

Fantastic 5.0
Everything was good. Even having free onsen for stay in guests. One thing that disappointed me was, I booked room with Mt Fuji view. I am OK if I were informed upfront during check in. Not when I checked in the room only realise it was not the room type I booked.

Great 4.0
I enjoyed the nice beds and warm sheets, the tub and shower, the shared kitchen space with children’s toys for my daughter. the nook next to the window. my only complain was the check in process. I never got an email or link to fill out the passport information. so don’t get the passcode to the door. luckily another group had the same problem so someone physically came to help us. value for money was good. 30 minute walk to Chureito Pagoda.

More about Fujiyoshida hotels

Staying in Fujiyoshida: what to expect

Staying in Fujiyoshida ranges from affordable economy rooms to distinctly more upscale premium options, with the top nightly rates roughly a little more than double the lowest — so there’s a noticeable but not extreme spread. The best balance between cost and comfort tends to be the standard tier, which is where many travellers find the most value.

How the hotel classes compare and who they suit

Economy rooms sit at the lower end and are the most budget-friendly option compared with the other tiers, suited to travellers focused on price. Standard rooms represent the sweet spot for value and are a clear step up in comfort from economy while remaining affordable for most visitors. The biggest price jump comes when moving from standard to premium, so choosing premium is where costs increase most noticeably; premium suits travellers wanting more space or added comforts and who are willing to pay for that upgrade. Luxury is not shown in the city’s tier breakdown here, so the premium tier represents the top of the local offer.

When travellers from the United States typically book

For travellers from the United States, the priciest month for nightly rates is April while the cheapest month is June, and June is the period that suits a budget-led trip. Rooms here are typically booked about 38 days in advance, with more advance planning common for the priciest month; last-minute flexibility is possible but booking earlier gives more certainty.
