The hotel looks modern and spacious in its public areas, very well-kept given it has 40 years of history. The view from the rooms is unbeatable, and we were very lucky to see the Fuji mountain clearly during our stay. The proximity to the limousinr bus to Tokyo and Yokohoma made the hotel a convinient choice, and we also appreciate the free shuttles. However, the hotel staff members were not warm; specifically the lady who performed check out and the western gentleman who answered our question about the terrace opening schedule; he had a stern face, no smile at all. I did not expect this in a historical Japanese hotel. Disappointing.

Beautiful hotel right next to the theme park and able to see Mt Fuji on clear days. Room was spacious and clean. There was a public onsen & a few restaurants in the hotel. Service was not as good as we thought it should have been given the price. It would be good if breakfast options can be rotated (although the view of Mt Fuji during breakfast was great!)

This is a beautiful hotel. The room and facilities looked high-end. Delicious breakfast buffet with a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji. Excellent shuttle service. We also loved the free activities when we stayed here, like the Fujiyama observatory, and access to Fuji-Q highlands.
