We did the 8h private tour with Loe. Honestly, most of the places we visited you could probably visit on your own, but Loe really elevated the experience with her stories & insights about the city.
The highlight was our private lunch at Crowne Plaza - superb dimsum, amazing view & such fun chatting with Loe & getting to know more about SZ. In hindsight, not being able to experience the drone delivery lunch was probably a blessing in disguise!
The driverless taxi was another eyeopening experience. It could have been a longer ride but we chose a nearby destination, so that’s on us 😄
The tour is on the expensive side, but for us it was worth it. I brought my parents along (my dad’s an electronics geek!), and I could tell he really enjoyed himself. Even though I’ve visited SZ multiple times, I came away with a much better understanding of the city & better yet, a new friend!
We did the tour in Mandarin, but Loe is fluent in English too. Would definitely be open to more tours with Loe!

1. Driver Ms Wang is super friendly and chatty, giving us a lot of information about the places we went. She also asked us about the places we had already visited and gave alternative places to go. 2. Ms Wang was able to plan the route to ensure that we have the best experience and go to all the places we have priority.

It was alot of fun picking out a dress and getting makup+ hair done. From the very beginning, communication w staff members over WeChat was professional and straightforward. Bonus, a whole bottle of wine was given for birthday celebrations!

Although it was a Sunday, there weren't many people there that day. There was no discount when buying tickets at the entrance, but I found a better deal on Klook. At the entrance, you need to take some time to fill out a WeChat form to purchase domestic insurance. They sell non-slip shoes for $10 a pair. Next to the entrance is a cat cafe with many purebred kittens that are well-behaved and active. To the left, there are free lockers to store your bags, but you need to connect to their Wi-Fi to use them. There are bumper cars, and on the upper floor, there are VR games, arcade games, and karaoke. After passing the outdoor carousel, there's a restaurant, darts, and pool. Further inside, you'll find slides, rock climbing, and high-altitude climbing. On the second floor of the slide area, there's archery, shooting, and mahjong. Next to the pool tables, there's an elevator to the second floor for go-karts and laser tag. I played for five hours inside. I was exhausted.

Booking in klook was easy. Redemption of tickets was also easy. When I went to the park, there are some rides under construction / maintenance. Park is a little underrated in my opinion. The crowd is also alright which makes queueing time relatively short for the rides which is good!! Park is also near window of the world, people can visit these 2 places together. Just to note that the park has shows which many of them starts only after 330pm and for food stalls some starts after 5pm.

The parent-child ticket is a special discount available to residents of Hong Kong and Macau. Purchasing tickets is very convenient, and confirmation is quick. You can simply scan the QR code to enter the park. There are large shopping malls and a subway station nearby, making the location extremely convenient. I hadn't visited for many years, but the park's scenery is beautiful and relaxing. Both adults and children can enjoy a full day here, and the evening float parade was a wonderful surprise. A visit is an absolute must if you are passing through Shenzhen Bay!

My wife and I decided to celebrate our 37th wedding anniversary with a buffet lunch at Renaissance Shenzhen Bay. We experienced a warm welcome and very good service. The staff members were polite and helpful. The view from the 57th floor was heart opening.

The overall experience was great, featuring a wide variety of options including teppanyaki, hot dishes, fruits, desserts, seafood, noodles, and staples. They let you dine first rather than making you wait to redeem the voucher, and they answered all questions with great patience. The restaurant is very quiet, and the environment is clean and spacious. It is conveniently located right outside Exit D2 of the Houhai Metro Station, making transportation very easy.
