Hotels near Arashiyama Monkey Park Iwatayama

We absolutely loved it here and would love to come back again soon! The location was perfect. And we can’t wait to come back for our next trip to Japan!

The must-stay hotel when you’re in Kyoto. Good location, quite neighborhood. The location is just right across Toji Station, which is just one stop from Kyoto Station. Many restaurants around, a supermarket, a drug store, and Aeon Mall nearby. Friendly staffs, especially one receptionist named Firyani, who helped us with some directions and recommendations. They also provide free snacks, coffee, teas all day long. And last but not least, these all come with a very affordable price

An exceptionally high-standard hotel—new, beautifully renovated, exceptionally clean, with spacious rooms and extremely comfortable beds. The lobby offers complimentary high-quality coffee, cold juices, and both hot and iced tea all day long. In the morning, they even serve complimentary croissants, bread, butter, jam, and orange juice—even if you didn't book a breakfast package. Such a wonderful gesture! The staff is extraordinarily polite, attentive, and helpful. The location is fantastic: right on the main avenue, away from the chaotic crowds, yet just a few minutes' walk from all the main attractions like Nishiki Market, major shopping areas, and more. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Kyoto!

Good stay! The best part of the hotel is the walkable distance to the mall and to the train station. There are two downside: dryer is not strong enough to dry clothes and the soundproofing is not quite good

One of the best places to stay in Kyoto, with an excellent location near Marutamachi Station and very convenient access to Kyoto Station as well as nearby attractions within walking distance. The hotel room was very spacious, with a separate sit-out sofa near the window and a distinct bathing area, which made the stay feel more comfortable and well-planned. Another thoughtful feature was the 24-hour free drinking water machine near the reception, which was very convenient throughout the stay. Overall, it was a very comfortable and practical hotel choice in Kyoto.

An absolutely excellent hotel! The room was incredibly comfortable, offering two types of pillows (soft and firm), which was a thoughtful touch. The space was very large, easily accommodating two big suitcases. It's only a 2-minute walk from the station, and there's even a market on weekends, making it super convenient. I've already booked my next stay! Convenience of transportation: Top-notch Cleanliness: Super clean and tidy

Hotel Location: It's a 15-minute walk from the station, so if you have luggage, we recommend taking a taxi or bus! Service: There's an additional ¥800 tourist tax upon check-in, which can be paid by credit card or electronic payment. Cash payments are not accepted. The front desk staff are all very friendly and nice! Cleanliness: The room space is not large. If you have large luggage, we recommend upgrading to a slightly larger room type.

This bread alone would make me want to stay here again; it's truly delicious! 😋 The croissant and a square citrus custard pastry were both incredibly tasty. The hotel and lobby are great, and there's also an affordable washing machine. Hotel location: Exit 2 Cleanliness: Clean Breakfast: Super delicious Convenience of transportation: Just around the corner from 7-Eleven Service: The staff are all very friendly

Hotel Location: It's right next to Yodobashi, which has electronics, Uniqlo, GU, and a LOPIA supermarket. There are also various restaurants nearby, making it incredibly convenient for dining and shopping! Transportation Convenience: Stairs or an elevator in front of the hotel lead directly to an underground passage connected to the subway. Kyoto Station is just a 5-minute walk straight from the first floor. Service: The service attitude is excellent. They offer full cleaning or just towel replacement services, and the hotel lobby always smells wonderful.
