superb location! just right across Shibuya bustling street and very accessible from the train station.

so happy i went with this capsule hotel. it goes beyond my standards for what i paid. it was very cheap so i expected for it to be unclean and all but it was the opposite. it smells good and even the comfort rooms are always clean, capsules are cleaned regularly, pyjamas and bath towels and slippers are changed everyday. exceeded my expectations! plus the staff are really nice!

will definitely come back to this hotel when i'm in tokyo. it was conveniently located near meiji jingu, shinjuku gyoen park, and shibuya. it's in a quieter area of shinjuku but just a short train ride away from shinjuku station. the views from the hotel was stunning and the amenities were top tier!

We stayed here for a week and had a wonderful experience! The room was definitely on the smaller side, but that's to be expected in Tokyo, and it had everything we needed. It was clean, modern, and beautifully maintained, making it a comfortable place to come back to after long days of exploring. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating throughout our stay. They were always happy to help, and they even held our luggage for us on our last day, which made sightseeing before our flight so much easier. The location was another huge plus. There was a 7-Eleven directly across the street, and it was easy to get to nearby train stations and explore the city. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tokyo!

Every day in Tokyo felt like staying in a birdcage hotel, but it was great that I could fully open my large suitcase. The hotel is very well-maintained and offers many amenities. This time, I stayed in Shimbashi, which has very convenient transportation and excellent surrounding facilities.

Great hotel! From Narita to hotel one train ride on the Narita Express and a 4 minute easy walk no stairs. spotless nice bathroom with great towels and bed linen. Food options everywhere and close to lots of shopping.

this hotel is centrally located, clean and has friendly staff. we were traveling with two of our kids and the room was spacious enough for the rfour of us, which I understand is hard to come by in Tokyo. I would pass on the lobby cafe. at 1,800 yen for a capacino I found this to be double the price of any other cafe on the area. if you like the great ambiance, it could be worth it, but for us travelling with two young kids, it was not. Otherwise this is a great hotel, in an amazing area of the city. We will stay here again in the future.

The hotel is conveniently located, just a 1-2 minute walk to Takaracho and Kyobashi stations, and a taxi ride to Tokyo Station costs only 700 yen. I chose a 28-square-meter room, which allowed me to open 2-3 suitcases. This will be my top choice for my next visit to Tokyo!

This was my second time staying at Smile Hotel Sugamo, and I’ll definitely keep coming back whenever I’m in Tokyo. I first stayed here last November–December and loved it so much that I booked it again for my recent 11-day trip. The location is honestly one of the best I’ve experienced in all 9 of my trips to Japan. It’s around 3 minutes from both the Yamanote Line and Mita Line, plus there’s also a bus stop nearby. There’s a FamilyMart right beside the hotel and a 24-hour supermarket behind it, which made everything super convenient. The room was perfect for me as a solo traveler and definitely bigger than the APA hotels I’ve stayed at before. I also appreciated the big TV and long desk since I had to work during part of my trip. The staff were very kind, there’s a 24/7 concierge, and they even gave me free mineral water and vending machine tokens. Overall, I had another great stay and would absolutely recommend this hotel. I’ll surely be back!
