Fantastic
Great place to stay if you want to be in the hustle and bustle of Shibuya. Many places to eat and shop till you drop! Make sure to check out the market below the hotel. Many quick and reasonable food options. All the city chaos goes unnoticed once stepping into the hotel. The rooms were so quiet despite it being right next to the crossing and above the subway. The front desk staff seemed to be organized. And the housekeeping staff was very helpful.

Great hotel! Right on the corner of Shibuya Crossing, a train terminal across the street, and tons of shops and restaurants around. Staff were very friendly and helpful as well. We had a great time here!

Overall it was an excellent stay. Staff was great, friendly, and always helpful! The location of the hotel was perfect for our first trip to Japan! We definitely will be back and stay at the Shibuya Excel Hotel!

Very convenience to access the train/metro station. We stayed in the 18th floor. The train/metro station were located in 3rd floor of the same building. Hotel staff could speak very good English and very helpful for your request. Breakfast is above the average but we got almost the same foods every day. If they could change the menu a little bit, that will be big plus. Overall, we will come back to this hotel next time. We recommend this hotel to visitors who wanted to stay in Shibuya, Tokyo.

Stayed with kids

The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. You just can’t beat the location.. right in the middle of it all. It was incredibly convenient. The room was a decent size. We had the 2 twin room. Beds were more like a large twin/full size. Not exactly the most comfortable though. From reviews of other hotels I’m thinking it’s on par with other hotels so may just be the norm. Overall, great stay and would stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a fantastic wide variety of options that catered to everyone in our family — everything from fresh fruits and pastries to hot Japanese and Western dishes. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, always quick to assist with a smile. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area!
