Don't stay here; it's full of fleas and animals, the smell is nauseating, the staff are awful, and they kick you out at 11 a.m. as if it were a prison—it's a nightmare.

Not for the faint hearted. Stay here only if you are truly on a budget and wants to party in the nearby areas. It's very well staffed and they do a good job with cleaning, but the sauna/hot spring is only for men, plus there are SO many pods the bathroom/locker rooms are always incredibly crowded, though I'm sure every traveller finds their way to squeeze in a shower somewhere. The problem is when it's packed like this you will have people who don't give a f about other guests. So much packing and movement at night. The rustling of packaging could easily drive you up the wall. If your pod is near the entrance or in front of the locker room you'd better get ear plugs or you won't ever be able to sleep. There are better capsule hotels in this city and honestly just paying a bit more will give you a proper room so there's no next time for me with this property.

You can’t sleep here from 11 am-3pm they kick everyone out to clean, so that’s challenging. The location is right in the red light district, which I would avoid. It’s so sad and brings down the dreamy vision I had of Japan. The price was amazing and it’s close to great food but better to spend a little more and be a 10 minute train ride away

Pleasant stay. No check-in before 3pm and it’s a hard limit.
Breakfast isn’t on site so you’re better off going to the 7-Eleven a few doors down.
No regular showers
The Onsen is good, though so you have to be comfortable in your birthday suit.
Pod was clean, but no air flow, no fan, got very hot very quick. Loud (people snoring) bring ear plugs.
If you are over 6ft1 you will struggle. I’m 6ft2 and I couldn’t stretch out inside the pod.

Great for the price. They make everyone leave daily from 11-3 so not possible to sleep in after clubbing. If this is your first time to Japan do NOT stay in shinjuku or visit at night. I’ve been to Japan several times and it feels so clean and safe and well maintained. Shinjuku is near the red light district and the Nigerian pimps ruined the whole allure of Japan.
