This was my first time visiting for the lunch buffet since the restaurant renovation, and it was for a friend's birthday. The food quality was very high, with oysters, king crab legs, sashimi, chilled shrimp, and chilled conch available. While the variety wasn't extensive, freshness was paramount. It was a shame that on a Saturday, the restaurant was only about half full; I hope business improves in the future. The biggest surprise was the bar staff, who made specialty drinks for guests on the spot. Besides regular coffee or tea, she could also prepare iced lattes (no ice, no sugar) or coffee tonics. My friends and I were all very happy, eating and chatting slowly from 12 PM to 2:30 PM. It was a great weekend activity, and I highly recommend everyone try it!

They were constantly attentive to guests' needs, making everyone feel truly welcome and well-cared for. The seafood was incredibly fresh, and cold dishes like oysters and bread crabs were replenished extremely quickly; I never saw an empty platter. The hot food selection was diverse, and whether it was roasted beef, roasted lamb leg, flavorful cooked dishes, or delicate dim sum, the seasoning was perfect. You could really feel the dedication of the culinary team. The dessert section was the perfect ending, with a wide selection of ice cream and various exquisite mini cakes, all of which were on par with high-end dessert shops. In summary: The Astor demonstrates exceptionally high standards in terms of ambiance, service, and food, offering excellent value for money. This is definitely a dining experience that makes you want to return again. I highly recommend it to all friends who appreciate great food and excellent service!

This time, we booked the dinner buffet for a birthday celebration. The last time I visited was three years ago for the lunch buffet. While the variety of food isn't extensive, the quality is excellent. I'm grateful to the restaurant for arranging a window seat for us this time; the view was lovely. The evening atmosphere is much better than during the day. There weren't too many diners, and everyone was very orderly when getting food, allowing us to enjoy our meal in a quiet and comfortable environment. 👍🏻 A special mention goes to the attentive staff who constantly checked if any plates needed to be cleared. They even prepared a small cake and took photos of us with the night view from the window sill. 🙂 The theme of this buffet was Japanese cuisine, featuring dishes like sukiyaki and caviar wagyu sushi, which suited my current preference for lighter meals. Additionally, the ginseng chicken soup had a strong ginseng flavor without being too overpowering; I had three extra servings! The desserts were decent, and there was a good selection of homemade gelato flavors. One highlight was the unique baked goods; I even made my own mini pineapple bun. 🤭

Είπε ότι η κουζίνα δεν ξεχωρίζει τους πελάτες του Klook από τους απλούς πελάτες, αλλά ήταν πολύ περίεργο, τα dim sum εκείνη την ημέρα δεν ήταν όπως αυτά που τρώω συνήθως. Στις 29 Μαΐου, επισκεφθήκαμε το Harbour Grand Kowloon στο Whampoa για ένα πλούσιο μεσημεριανό μπουφέ (12:00-14:30). Η τιμή ήταν λογική και η αξία εξαιρετική. Υπήρχε μεγάλη ποικιλία φαγητών, με εγγυημένη ποιότητα και γεύση. Το προσωπικό του ξενοδοχείου ήταν εξυπηρετικό και ευγενικό. Έχουμε επισκεφθεί το ξενοδοχείο πολλές φορές και δεν είχαμε ποτέ κανένα παράπονο. Το τραπέζι μας ήταν κοντά στο φαγητό, όπως ζητήθηκε για τον έναν ηλικιωμένο της παρέας, κάτι που διευκόλυνε την πρόσβαση στα πιάτα. Το περιβάλλον ήταν ευχάριστο, με μεγάλα παράθυρα που επέτρεπαν άφθονο φυσικό φως, αν και ο κλιματισμός ήταν λίγο ανεπαρκής, αλλά αυτό δεν ήταν μεγάλο πρόβλημα. Όσον αφορά το φαγητό, υπήρχε ψητό μοσχάρι, το οποίο είναι το αγαπημένο μου, σασίμι σολομού, χταπόδι, φρέσκα χτένια και φρέσκες κόκκινες γαρίδες – όλα φρέσκα και νόστιμα. Τα γλυκά και τα κέικ ήταν επίσης ικανοποιητικά. Υπήρχε μια μικρή έλλειψη μαχαιροπίρουνων, αλλά αναπληρώθηκαν γρήγορα, ίσως επειδή η κουζίνα δεν προλάβαινε να τα πλύνει και να τα αντικαταστήσει.
