The location is convenient, with two supermarkets and a convenience store nearby. It's only a 5-minute walk to the nearest subway station and very close to the bus stop, making it easy to get to Kiyomizu-dera Temple or Kitano Tenmangu Shrine. It's also just a 7-minute walk to Shijo-Omiya to take the Randen train to Arashiyama. The room size is moderate and comfortable, and the hotel's overall cleanliness is pleasant. The free public bath on the first floor for guests is excellent. I would be willing to stay here again.

I had a wonderful stay. The location was in a good place, not too close to the really busy areas, but I was still able to get convenient transportation to all the places I needed to go. The staff was super kind and helpful with check-in and check-out, and holding my luggage on my last day so I could continue exploring. The hotel was super clean, and the atmosphere and facilities, like the large public bath, were great. Would love to stay here again.

It's a very comfortable stay, the environment is clean, and the large bath is clean and comfortable. Happy Hour & the Ochazuke late-night snack are really great! The staff is also very polite, there's a supermarket nearby, and transportation is convenient. It's a 5-minute walk to the subway and bus. There's an elevator at Hankyu Kyoto Karasuma Station Exit 1 that takes you to the Karasuma Line entrance. It's two stops to Kyoto Station (Exit 1: 34.9855794693276, 135.76007311095614).

Convenient transportation, near shopping areas, near restaurants, luggage storage available, clean room, small room but can fit 24" and 22" suitcases.

Hotel location: Very close to Exit 19 of the station, very close to Nishiki Market, and there is a bus stop right outside. There are many shops nearby. Service: At first, the bedside lamp didn't work. After informing the service staff and changing rooms, we found that the previous guest had left their earphones under the bed... The service staff were very considerate and easy to communicate with.

Kyoto stole my heart during this stay. The location made exploring so easy, with food spots and transport nearby. Staff were warm and attentive. Room was spotless and peaceful. Facilities were well maintained. I’d gladly return to Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyoto Shijo again.
