Kinkakuji Temple tours

Our tour guide (Apple) was very pleasant, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. She provided background information on the three scenic spots we visited today. She was very kind and helpful if we had questions. Our trip was very punctual. We had ample time to explore each spot and quite enjoyed the pace.

Sakura was our guide for the morning, and she was excellent. Really recommend her. Her instructions to arrive at the meeting spot for the Tour and how we should be prepared were detailed and really helpful. And from the beginning of the tour, she kept giving us great information for all the spots we visited. She has recommendations for Photo spots and took pictures of us along the way too.She was very accommodating, friendly and helpful. She’s knowledgeable and a fun person to explore the highlights of Kyoto with. Highly recommend going with her.

I had really fun on this tour and I feel like for the price that I paid, I got to do a lot of the must-sees in Japan. The tour guide, which I forgot his name 🥲, was really funny and engaging. He offered to take photos for each group and he knew how to speak English, Chinese, and Japanese. Also, I'm glad that I was able to upgrade to have a lunch even though I didn't originally buy it through Klook. I feel like if I didn't have food reserved before, I would have spent less time in one of the areas. Overall, I would definitely do this tour again in the future.

Words cannot describe the wonderful experience we had on this full day of exploration with our magnificent guide, Tom! He generated and customized an itinerary to maximize the time and allow us to get the most out of our time in Kyoto. We could write a novel on how amazing the sights are and how Tom was one of the best tour guides in many of our global travels. We were able to see everything we planned with some extras! Tom went above and beyond to make sure our tour was a pleasant one. We were given a great history lesson around the Japanese culture, as we had ask for in our alignment on our goals of the tour prior to our arrival in Kyoto. Tom stayed in excellent communication from the time our journey was booked. He made the process easy and provided great direction and guidance leading up to our journey. The lunch at Sushi Iso was amazing! We highly recommend use of this tour company and especially Tom as your guide for having a fun, educational and cultural experience! Thank you!

our tour guide Aiko was amazing and accommodating getting us away from the crowds where possible and guiding us to areas within each site for great photos and experiences. I have a bad back and knees and Aiko provided options for me to still experience everything. the itinerary was a full day but we did not feel rushed. the driver was great as well and very safe driving. All our questions about anything & everything about Japan were also answered. I did not want the day to end.

Our tour guide this time was Rick, and the itinerary was satisfying, though the timing still felt a bit tight. Kinkaku-ji Temple was breathtakingly beautiful. We didn't have enough time to go all the way to the top of Fushimi Inari. Kiyomizu-dera Temple's Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka were fantastic for photos, shopping, and browsing. I was completely immersed in Uji matcha—it was pure bliss! 😊 As expected, something unexpected happened. When I was buying a Nishiki fan at a store, I used my transit card to pay, thinking it would be more convenient than taking out my wallet. However, the vendor told me the payment failed, even though my phone showed it had been deducted. Due to communication issues, I had to contact Rick on the spot and ask him to help me translate. Thank you, Mr. Rick, for going out of your way to help me translate and even calling the relevant authorities to inquire. I'm incredibly grateful! ☺️ I'll definitely look for you again on my next trip to Japan!

During the 7-day 6-night free travel, I specially arranged a day to sign up for a group tour in Kyoto. The main attractions this time were Kinkakuji Temple, Kiyomizu Temple and Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine. The overall itinerary was all the attractions I really wanted to visit. I was super nervous before departure, after all, it was my first time traveling in this way, and I wanted to participate selfishly, but in fact I really felt great. The entire time control and itinerary arrangement were all very appropriate. I would like to thank our tour guide Xiao Fu (Alvin) 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. During the trip, he explained the history of the attractions in Chinese and English, and shared many recommended restaurants, allowing us to use time quickly and accurately, and he would also remind everyone in the group of the meeting time and place in a timely manner. Our group had a large number of people and we took the bus, but Xiao Fu still cared about everyone's situation, whether there was anything they wanted to eat, etc. He was always willing to help. Especially when my son fell and injured both knees, Xiao Fu immediately went to buy disinfectant and dressings for us. I am really grateful, otherwise we might not be able to have fun. The child felt embarrassed afterwards and wanted to thank this big brother. We returned to Osaka at nearly 6 o'clock and had plenty of time to go shopping. After returning home, everyone felt that they had a fulfilling and happy day.

We chose this program with an English-speaking guide. The guide was excellent. On a day with heavy rain, the guide consistently updated us on every minute of delay via the LINE group. Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome, and the guide explained every tourist spot clearly and understandably, showing great care for all tour members. Thank you to our guide, Theodore Chan, for taking such good care of us. He also professionally recommended delicious restaurants, check-in spots, and photo opportunities.
