Things to do in Lake Tekapo

We had a wonderful Mt. Cook & Lake Tekapo day tour from Christchurch. Special thanks to our guide, Rosy, and her husband, our driver, for their excellent service. They were friendly, accommodating, and made the trip smooth, safe, and enjoyable. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I went there for Mount Cook, but I also got to eat salmon and see the lake, so it was a great value with lots of activities! We had a transfer along the way, and both of our guides were wonderful people.

our wonderful farm guide was Benzi who was very friendly and knowledgeable on the animals in the farm! end of the tour, Ben presented us with postcards of the farm and animals.

This is an amazing trip. Although it is a long way to go, the business bus is comfortable and has charging in the car. The tour guide also provided satisfactory service. I was very happy. Thank you.

I really love the trip. We had enough time to take lots of pictures without feeling rushed at every landmark. Unfortunately, I went the wrong way so I didn’t see the glacier. Overall I would say the tour guy is really knowledgeable. first time I joined this stargazing. I joined the the group with Chinese speaking guide (小莫）. easy to understand for those who totally do not know about the stars like me. she is professional and helpful in answering the question raised.

it's a pretty good convenient touch and go of all listed itineraries, but you don't really get to see Mount Cook up close unless you do the trekking (not this tour though, since time is tight). overall it's a good tour with safe and steady driving, and our guide Brad was extremely friendly!
