Scenic Helicopter Flight from Lake Tekapo with Alpine Landing

I was worried that I would not be able to ride the helicopter because it continued to rain during the trip, but fortunately I was able to ride for about 15-20 minutes. They kindly contacted me by email and phone. Even when we met in person, he was so kind, and he kept explaining things during the tour. The scenery outside the window was really spectacular❤️ Although the weather was cloudy and the short flight was regrettable, he said he would give me a partial refund and it was a very enjoyable trip :) It was nice to be with you on the first flight Captain!

This is an experience of touring Cook Strait and the Southern Alps, as well as Fox, Franz Josef, and Tasman Glaciers. The helicopter landing on the snow was not possible due to the weather conditions at the landing site, so we took a light aircraft tour as an alternative. The scenery was so beautiful that I highly recommend doing it at least once. The safe flight and the rich explanation of the terrain and landscape are the highlights. My child loved it very much.

Very professional pilot, felt safe and relaxed during the whole journey. Yes it’s a bit pricey but after you see the view it’s all worth it. the landing on top of the snowy hill was smooth as well!

Amazing landscape and helpful staff. We were a group of 2, not meeting the min no. of passengers. But the staff helped to combine the flight appointment with the other party of 3 to make it possible. We appreciated it. Captain Tim was experienced sharing the Glaciers with us and took good care of us during the journey. The trip was unforgettable.

great pilot, polite staffs. we had to wait for 1.5 hrs for the weather - which is totally understandable + considering it snowed heavily the day before.

We had planned to hike the Mount Cook Glacier, but it was cancelled due to bad weather. Tekapo immediately rescheduled the trip to accommodate this activity and it was confirmed very quickly. There is less snow in early autumn, but you can still see magnificent scenery. This is the only place to see snow-capped mountains in this season, so it is still worth it.

Due to technical issues, I couldn't ride the helicopter, so I took a light plane. I definitely recommend experiencing it. The snowy mountains you see from afar are amazing... they're amazing.
