Things to do in Gallery of the Academy of Florence

Didn’t know that you have to exchange for the real ticket at the office first before queuing. Luckily the lady let me in instead of asking me to queue on my time slot again. Otherwise nice small museum with other old sculptures and musical instruments.

During a tight window in my business trip to Italy, I visited Florence alone and made sure to book a fast-pass ticket for the Accademia Gallery in advance. The queue at the entrance was incredibly long, so I was very grateful for the ticket, which allowed me to use the fast lane and save a significant amount of time. This was incredibly valuable for a business traveler like me, where time is precious! The museum's layout was easy to navigate, and with the detailed explanations from the audio guide, I, as a solo traveler, was able to deeply appreciate the awe-inspiring presence and intricate details of Michelangelo's original David. The entire experience was very efficient and enriching. I highly recommend it to solo travelers who want to make the most of their limited time to see this classic masterpiece!

Although the tour is self guided at Pisa and Florence, being with our guide Aaron, and our angels who took us there, Gracia and Salvatore, the trip was very good. Aaron guided us with facts and stories of Pisa and Florence, and guided on what itinerary to have to get the best in the given time of 1 hour at Pisa and 2 hours at Florence. Obviously this time is not enough to see both cities and the places fully but enough to get the highlights. Also, there was an option to go in gold cart through the outskirts and see the panoramic view of Florence from the Piazzale Michelangelo was superb. This view is definitely not to be missed. Even with only this limited time, the trip was great and is worth going if these cities are not in your plan, but you have one additional day in Rome. Both Pisa and Florence are wonderful cities, must visit. And if you get this team, it is wonderful.

our tour guide was so passionate about Florence and the artists, she gave us a lot of valuable information on the history of what we were seeing. we did the tour on a Sunday so we couldn’t actually go in the Duomo, that is one thing that I regret booking this on a Sunday but it did tell me that at the time of booking and with our schedule that was the only day we had available.

we enjoyed the tour guide a lot she was wonderful and very thorough. we would have liked the option to go into the church but we saw the outside and it is stunning.

The extra-charge bus from the cruise disembarkation point to the meeting place wasn't bad, and the accompanying guide on the bus was also good. However, due to the bus stop location marked on the map provided, we missed the bus and made the mistake of taking a train from Florence Central Station to Pisa Station, and then another city bus. The trip was tough, but I still recommend it.

This was very good. host was really lovely and very insightful and there are a lot of paintings and statues everywhere. I also need more Klook cash so this is my review to get more. Yayyyyyy.

Although I'm not an art expert, I was overwhelmed by the numerous works on display, from famous pieces to ones I'd never seen before. The museum's layout is very spacious and enjoyable, and being able to see so many works for the admission price feels like a great value. I'd love to visit again.

Exceptional Value & a Stress-Free Way to See Tuscany! This tour is incredible value for money! We managed to see so many beautiful places—Siena, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, and the Chianti Wine Region—all in a single day, plus we got to enjoy a wonderful winery tasting experience. We had originally planned to rent a car and do a road trip ourselves, but taking this tour completely saved us from the stress of driving, navigating, and parking in Italy. It was the best decision we could have made. A huge, special thank you goes to our guide, Alex. He was incredibly energetic, helpful, and friendly. His amazing energy truly brightened up the entire trip and made the day so much fun! We also want to thank our driver, Patrick, for navigating the roads and driving us around safely all day.
