Coisas para fazer em Gallery of the Academy of Florence

Didn’t know that you have to exchange for the real ticket at the office first before queuing. Luckily the lady let me in instead of asking me to queue on my time slot again. Otherwise nice small museum with other old sculptures and musical instruments.

During a tight window in my business trip to Italy, I visited Florence alone and made sure to book a fast-pass ticket for the Accademia Gallery in advance. The queue at the entrance was incredibly long, so I was very grateful for the ticket, which allowed me to use the fast lane and save a significant amount of time. This was incredibly valuable for a business traveler like me, where time is precious! The museum's layout was easy to navigate, and with the detailed explanations from the audio guide, I, as a solo traveler, was able to deeply appreciate the awe-inspiring presence and intricate details of Michelangelo's original David. The entire experience was very efficient and enriching. I highly recommend it to solo travelers who want to make the most of their limited time to see this classic masterpiece!

Embora o passeio em Pisa e Florença seja autoguiado, estar com o nosso guia Aaron e com os nossos anjos que nos levaram até lá, Gracia e Salvatore, tornou a viagem muito boa. O Aaron nos guiou com fatos e histórias de Pisa e Florença, e nos orientou sobre qual itinerário seguir para aproveitar ao máximo o tempo determinado de 1 hora em Pisa e 2 horas em Florença. Obviamente, esse tempo não é suficiente para ver ambas as cidades e os lugares por completo, mas é o bastante para conhecer os principais pontos turísticos. Além disso, havia a opção de fazer um passeio de carrinho de golfe pelos arredores e a vista panorâmica de Florença a partir da Piazzale Michelangelo foi espetacular. Essa vista definitivamente não deve ser perdida. Mesmo com esse tempo limitado, a viagem foi ótima e vale a pena caso essas cidades não estejam nos seus planos, mas você tenha um dia extra em Roma. Tanto Pisa quanto Florença são cidades maravilhosas, de visita obrigatória. E se você contar com esta equipe, será maravilhoso.

After picking up our tickets from the vendor outside the Accademia Gallery, we went straight to the fast-track line, but the queue was still incredibly long. It was also difficult to listen to the audio guide using the URL provided by the vendor inside the museum because there was little to no internet access, and the museum's Wi-Fi was encrypted and couldn't be connected to. The Uffizi Gallery tickets had already been sent to us, and after the vendor directed us to the entrance, we got in very quickly. We used a pre-downloaded app for the audio guide, and it worked smoothly throughout our visit. I also received a dining voucher in my email, but I didn't end up using it.

The extra-charge bus from the cruise disembarkation point to the meeting place wasn't bad, and the accompanying guide on the bus was also good. However, due to the bus stop location marked on the map provided, we missed the bus and made the mistake of taking a train from Florence Central Station to Pisa Station, and then another city bus. The trip was tough, but I still recommend it.

Had an excellent time on our tour. The sites that we saw were so beautiful. definitely worth the time to see a little bit of Tuscany. We were able to climb the leaning tower of Pisa and the view was amazing.

Exceptional Value & a Stress-Free Way to See Tuscany! This tour is incredible value for money! We managed to see so many beautiful places—Siena, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, and the Chianti Wine Region—all in a single day, plus we got to enjoy a wonderful winery tasting experience. We had originally planned to rent a car and do a road trip ourselves, but taking this tour completely saved us from the stress of driving, navigating, and parking in Italy. It was the best decision we could have made. A huge, special thank you goes to our guide, Alex. He was incredibly energetic, helpful, and friendly. His amazing energy truly brightened up the entire trip and made the day so much fun! We also want to thank our driver, Patrick, for navigating the roads and driving us around safely all day.
