Our tour guide, Elena was very informative and passionate about sharing the history/ stories of the places we visited. The tour went on smoothly and fuss- free. Despite the crowd, it was an enjoyable experience!

Bought the Trenitalia pass on Klook and got my e-ticket instantly. Activation was super easy and the QR code worked at every station from Rome to Venice. Trains were punctual, clean, and comfortable. Having unlimited travel saved me so much vs buying single tickets and let me do spontaneous day trips. Klook’s customer support was also responsive when I had a question. Best way to explore Italy by train!

I arrived about 30 minutes early and waited, but since others had written in reviews that they wouldn't let you in until the last minute, I took pictures and killed time around the area. However, when I went back 10 minutes before the start, I was able to get in smoothly without waiting! It didn't seem like they were particularly strict about the timing. I think it's convenient to print out your ticket and keep it handy, but mobile tickets on your phone are also perfectly fine!

Great tour, Favio was such an amazing tour guide, full of stories and very knowledgeable. The only thing is the meeting spot can be a bit confusing, we got lost but did managed to turn up just in time. Otherwise, enjoyable tour.

Looking up at the ceiling from inside the building, it feels so grand and enormous, as if you could be drawn into it. Sunlight streams in through the hole in the ceiling, and I imagine the way it illuminates different spots changes with the time of day, creating a unique atmosphere each hour. It's so magnificent that I can understand why this building has remained perfectly intact without collapsing.

This tour is worth booking. Our guide, Giorgio, was a wonderful guide. He gave us lots of stories, showed us how everything looked during the old Roman times. He explained every detail of the Roman Forum, the Palatine Hill and the Colosseum while being patient enough to answer the questions of our groupmates. Check-in for the tour was done fast and smoothly too.

We enjoyed the guided tour of the Colosseum which allowed us to understand its history, culture and functions so much better than we would have if we had gone without a guide. highly recommend getting a guide to get the best experience when visiting the Colosseum. The only issue was a slight confusion due to the tour company's (Towns of Italy) automated message system which told us to assemble at 3pm at a different location when we were supposed to meet directly at the Colosseum at 4.45pm.
