Chongqing Multi-day tours

We booked the Klook Chongqing Private Customized Tour and overall it was a good experience. The trip was smooth and convenient, and we were able to visit the places comfortably at our own pace. There was a slight language barrier, so communication was limited, but we managed fine throughout the journey. The driver provided some basic guidance where possible, which was helpful.

Booked this as part of our China trip, turned out to be way above expectations. Comfortable and clean rooms, good service, AMAZING food (international standards). Would 10/10 recommend! Crew member Kira was very helpful, along with all other service members on the ship.

The unified meeting point is convenient, and the tour company will communicate with the tourist group in advance to establish communication channels. The tour guide will also inquire about the meeting point and travel matters in advance. When boarding the bus, the attractions and optional activities will be introduced, but there is no strong pressure to purchase them. This time, our guide, Mr. Shen, was very responsible and sent text messages to tourists regarding attractions, precautions, and photography tips. The meals were typical group meals and were acceptable. The accommodation platform upgraded our stay to a large resort room with electric heating beds, which was great value. The only slight shortcoming was that the transportation bus was relatively old and the seats were small, but the driver was very stable. The attractions were well-arranged, but the Tian Sheng San Qiao (Three Natural Bridges) and Longshui Gorge Crevice scenic areas are similar, both requiring continuous walking down stairs, so those who are not physically fit should consider this. The Wujiang River boat trip was comfortable and the scenery was beautiful, like a landscape painting.

We were delighted to join this small group tour to Wulong and Pengshui. Our driver, Bo Zai, managed the schedule perfectly and thoughtfully explained the scenic spots to us. We brought my elderly father on this trip, and Bo Zai repeatedly reminded us to be careful and stay safe. Thank you all for not minding our slightly slower pace. It was a very comfortable 7-person small group tour. The authentic Wulong food was also delicious!

We had a lovely time in Chongqing. Driver Mr Liu's driving skills are very good and safe. The bus ride was very comfortable and steady. He is also friendly and helpful with moving our luggage. Tour guide Xiao Qin is also very friendly and gives good explanations throughout the tour. She is patient and takes care of the group well. Thank you all for the trip!

The tour guide was very humorous and engaging, making it easy for everyone on the bus, even strangers, to interact comfortably. The timing at each attraction was also managed perfectly. What was most touching was that at the end of the tour, when we parted ways, he personally dropped each of us off at our individual hotels. For me, visiting Chongqing for the first time, this was incredibly helpful.

The itinerary was thoughtfully planned, which made the trip convenient. Unfortunately, the first hotel did not meet expectations,it was quite shabby and felt deserted, far from a 4-star experience. Thankfully, after we raised the issue, the remaining hotels were much better. Meals were basic and tended to be repetitive. Additionally, the driver demanded additional charges for any deviations from the fixed route, which can be inconvenient. Overall, it’s decent value for the price, but with room for improvement.

Overall, it wasn't a very ideal trip, will not recommend if you have other options. Pros: Hotel was good, tour guide was experienced. Cons: 1. Did not expect to be grouped up with other local tour groups, total was over 40 pax. 2. Price paid is not final. Many things, i.e. transport in the attraction that you HAVE to pay because there's no way to cover the distance within the time allotted. So then we were made to transfer the balance to the tour guide. We were also told that due to limited options and due to time constraint, meal arrangements had already been made on D2 and we have to pay that to her as well. Things that we had to pay: [MUST] Tiankeng & Difeng transfer + Xiannvshan train, Day 2 Lunch [Optional] Tiankeng electric car, Tiankeng Three Bridges Glass Observation Deck, Flying over Wulong - Tour guide made us think that the latter 2 were compulsory and we had to stand firm to tell her what we will be opting out from. Total additional paid 280 RMB/pax.
