Guide
- The Three Natural Bridges of Wulong are a rare geological wonder and a tourist area with a typical karst landform. It is also the filming location for the movies "Curse of the Golden Flower" and "Transformers: Age of Extinction". The scenic area is located in Fairy Mountain Town, Wulong County. Generally, tourists purchase tickets at the visitor center in Fairy Town and then take the scenic area's environmental protection bus to reach the scenic area.
- The Three Natural Bridges of Wulong consist of three natural stone arch bridges: Tianlong Bridge, Qinglong Bridge, and Heilong Bridge. The three bridges span the Yangshui River Canyon, and the span of the stone bridges and the distance from the bottom of the canyon are both over 100 meters. The three stone bridges connect the mountains on both sides of the canyon, forming a unique landscape of "three bridges夹two pits". The pits between the stone bridges are also called "sinkholes".
- After entering the scenic area, tourists can take the sightseeing elevator down to the sinkhole at the bottom of the valley (the elevator fee is included in the ticket price), and then walk along the quiet path at the bottom of the pit. At this time, looking around, you will see lush greenery and flowing streams; looking up, you will see cliffs everywhere, and mountain springs cascading down from above.
- In the sinkhole near Tianlong Bridge, there is a Tang-style building called "Tianfu Inn", which is the exterior location for Zhang Yimou's film "Curse of the Golden Flower". This inn cost tens of millions of dollars to build. It is also the Chinese filming location for "Transformers: Age of Extinction", and now there are still mechanical monster models from the movie in the scenic area.
- After the tour, you can walk to the exit of the scenic area. There is an uphill road on the way, or you can take an electric car to the exit. At the exit of the scenic area, tourists can take the environmental protection bus back to the visitor center in the town, or take the environmental protection bus to the nearby Longshuixia Fissure Gorge to continue the tour (you need to purchase a ticket for the fissure gorge before you can take the bus).
- Wulong Karst Geological Park is located in Wulong County, Chongqing, in the lower reaches of the Wujiang River, a tributary of the Yangtze River. It has a typical karst landform, with huge natural bridge clusters, huge sinkholes, and steep and secluded fissure gorges. You can go down to the bottom of the hundred-meter-deep sinkhole and look up, with surrounding cliffs like clouds; you can also go to the bottom of the valley in the fissure gorge and follow the rock wall along the underground river; feel the magic of nature.
- The Sinkhole Scenic Area has natural bridge clusters and sinkhole clusters. It was not really known until it became the filming location for the movie "Curse of the Golden Flower". It is also the filming location for "Transformers: Age of Extinction".
