The happiest place in the world just got even bigger! ✨
Fantasy Springs is the newest area in Tokyo DisneySea and brings you into the worlds of beloved Disney films Peter Pan, Frozen, and Tangled. With brand new rides, attractions, and restaurants, this is your sign to revisit the park — or if you’ve never been, your sign to finally go!
For those planning a visit, getting a Disney Fantasy Springs Hotel booking should be high on your list. Access to the new area is currently limited to mitigate crowding, and only a select number of guests can enter each day (more on the criteria you’ll need to meet later). A reservation at the Fantasy Springs Hotel is one of the easiest ways to secure your slot. 😉

What new attractions are available at Disney Fantasy Springs?
A trip to Tokyo is only complete with a day (or two!) at its massive Disney Resort Park, which has both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea.
The newly-opened Fantasy Springs area at DisneySea brings to life iconic Disney worlds with four major areas:
1. Frozen Kingdom
Guests can explore The Kingdom of Arendelle in this Frozen-themed land. Here, you can find Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey, a boat attraction where you follow Elsa, Anna, and Olaf through a retelling of the beloved animated film.
For your dining options in the area, there is the Royal Banquet of Arendelle, which serves hearty set meals. The Arendelle Royal Set features smoked salmon trout and orange salad, beef pie, potato gratin, beef pie, bread, Olaf's marshmallow cocoa mousse, and your choice of soft drink. Talk about yum! It’s located inside Arendelle Castle.
If you’re searching for a light snack, you can grab some at Oaken’s OK Foods! Their signature pastry is Oaken's Yoo-Hoo Bread, a roll with spiced meat and sweet jam.
2. Rapunzel's Forest
A Tangled-themed area at last sees the light in a Disney park! In Rapunzel’s Forest, visitors can hop on Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival boat ride and experience the iconic floating lantern scene for themselves. When you step outside, you’ll be able to see Rapunzel’s tower in the distance.
You can also get some sit-down time at the Snuggly Duckling Tavern, where you can find light meals and desserts. We recommend Rapunzel’s Magical Milk Tea, which is a light and refreshing drink perfect for a sweet pick-me-up after all that walking around.
Don’t miss out on Sweets Ever After either! It’s a light lemon and strawberry-flavored pastry perfect for the ‘gram. 📷
3. Peter Pan's Neverland
Follow the second star on the right to Peter Pan’s Neverland, which features two new attractions and its own restaurant.
Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure lets guests fly aboard a pirate ship through Neverland, experiencing the film’s locations like Skull Rock, and Mermaid Lagoon. Fairy Tinker Bell's Busy Buggies, on the other hand, is an outdoor family-friendly ride. Guests help Tinker Bell deliver parcels at a gentle pace around Pixie Hollow onboard fairy-themed vehicles.
Make sure to grab a bite at the Hideout Cookout, where you can find kid-friendly food like burgers and fries. Their specialty drink is the Pixie Dust Soda, a fizzy drink with a kiwi base topped with a cute edible star.
4. Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel
The Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel is a 475-room luxury hotel directly connected to the new area via a special entrance exclusive to guests staying at the hotel. Staying here gives you access to exclusive benefits like the Fantasy Springs 1-Day Passport which gives you unlimited entry and exit into Fantasy Springs.
How do I enter Disney Fantasy Springs?
When visiting Fantasy Springs at Tokyo DisneySea, here’s a rundown of some of the ways you can access attractions:
- Standby Pass (free of charge)/Disney Premier Access
- Disney Fantasy Springs Hotel Booking
- Tokyo Disney Resort Vacation Package
It’s important to note that it is currently not possible to enter the area just to look around — unlike other areas in DisneySea. You’ll need to book a Standby Pass or a Disney Premier Access Pass for any of the rides in Fantasy Springs to be able to enter the area.
If you’d like to dine at any of the restaurants in Fantasy Springs, you’ll also have to use the Disney Mobile Order on the Tokyo Disney Resort App to place an advance order.
Before anything else, you’ll have to secure a Tokyo DisneySea ticket (also known as a Tokyo DisneySea 1-Day Passport) to access Fantasy Springs. Once you are inside DisneySea, you can book a Standby Pass or a Disney Premier Access Pass through the official Tokyo Disney Resort App. Take note that you won’t be able to reserve these before entering the park.
The Standby Pass lets you into a virtual queuing system that allows guests to reserve a time slot to enter certain attractions without waiting in a physical line. Once your time slot arrives, you can enter the attraction within the allocated window.
What’s great about the Standby Pass is that it comes at no extra cost and you can enjoy other parts of the park while waiting for your reservation time. However, availability is limited and you may not get your preferred time slots, especially on busy days.
Klook Tip: For step-by-step instructions on how to book a Standby Pass, you can check out the official website of Tokyo DisneySea.
On the other hand, the Disney Premier Access Pass is a paid service that allows guests to skip the regular line and enter attractions at a designated time with minimal wait. It’s basically a Fast Pass, just under a different name. After purchase, just select a time to enter the attraction.
With this pass, you’ll enjoy significantly reduced wait times — ideal for those who want to maximize their time and avoid long queues. However, since you’ll have to buy one pass per attraction, costs can quickly add up.
For more information on Disney Premier Access, check out the official website of DisneySea.
In summary, the Standby Pass is a great option for budget-conscious visitors, as it’s included with your park admission, though flexibility and patience are required. If you’d like to maximize your time and convenience, the Disney Premier Access Pass is worth considering, especially if you want to experience Fantasy Springs without long waits.
Don’t forget that there’s a limited number allocated to each pass every day, so make sure to reserve as early as you can.
Entering with a Disney Fantasy Springs Hotel Booking
Luckily, there is a way for sure entry into Fantasy Springs and that is with a reservation at the Disney Fantasy Springs Hotel. While this is not the cheapest option, you’ll be guaranteed access to the new area — and through a special entrance away from the crowds, too.
With a Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel Booking, you may purchase a 1-Day Passport: Fantasy Springs Magic or the whole Fantasy Springs Vacation Package (includes the Fantasy Springs 1-Day Passport).
Note: 1-Day Passport: Fantasy Springs Magic will be available for purchase for admissions up to 31 March 2025, and will no longer be available for purchase for admissions after that date.
The Fantasy Springs 1-Day Passport gives you unlimited access to the Fantasy Springs area, as well as priority access to the new rides (save for Fairy Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggies). For more details including pricing, check out the official website.
Meanwhile, the Fantasy Springs Vacation Package gives you all the benefits of the 1-Day Passport along with additional goodies like minimal wait times for meet and greets with the Disney characters, access to exclusive merch, and even free beverages at the park!
Now, if you are staying at the Fantasy Springs Hotel, but don’t have the 1-Day Passport: Fantasy Springs Magic, you will need to reserve a Standby/Premier Access pass to queue for the rides and restaurants. You’ll still be able to freely enter and exit the area, though! You just need to show proof that you’re staying at the hotel at the Fantasy Springs entrance.
Staying at another Disney Hotel? You can check if your plan includes the 1-Day Passport: Fantasy Springs Magic for access to Fantasy Springs. If not, you’ll also have to book a Standby/Premier Access pass in addition to your DisneySea ticket.
How do I book a DisneySea Ticket?
There are various packages available that let you access Fantasy Springs, just make sure that they come with a ticket to Tokyo DisneySea! If not, you’ll have to book it separately.
You can purchase a DisneySea admission pass directly via Klook for convenient entry into the park. You’ll get instant confirmation and receive your tickets immediately over email. To enter DisneySea, all you have to do is scan the QR code on your phone once at the gates.
Heads up for first-time goers, there are separate tickets for Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea! You cannot enter both parks on the same day. Don’t worry — with how many attractions and experiences there are, it would be a challenge to fit everything into one day anyway.
Experience Tokyo’s best-loved attractions with a single pass — Klook Pass Greater Tokyo
If you want to skip the hassle of booking individual tickets to places like Tokyo Disney Resort/DisneySea, teamLab Borderless, Tokyo Skytree (and more!), you can consider getting the Klook Pass Greater Tokyo. With this, you can choose up to eight experiences and enjoy fuss-free entry into all of them with a single pass. No need to queue in long lines!
Plus, it allows for a flexible itinerary since the pass is valid for 30 days upon activation; you can enter your chosen attractions within that period.
How do I get to Tokyo DisneySea?
With Tokyo’s handy public transportation system, traveling from Tokyo to Tokyo Disney Resort (which includes both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea) is easy. Simply take the JR Keiyo Line directly to JR Maihama Station. Tokyo Disney Resort is a 5-minute walk away. This is covered by the JR Pass.
Since Tokyo Disney Resort is an extremely popular destination, you may also be able to find shuttle buses that go directly to it. If you’re coming from Narita Airport, for example, you can take the Tokyo Disney Resort Bus directly from Narita Terminal 1.
Stay connected with a Japan eSim
Access to Wifi is absolutely essential when visiting Fantasy Springs since you can only book Standby/Premier Access Passes once you’re inside Tokyo DisneySea. Plus, if you want to dine at any of the restaurants in Fantasy Springs, you must place a mobile order in advance via the Tokyo Disney Resort App.
While the park offers free WiFi near its main entrances and Guest Relations areas, it’s better to have sure access throughout your stay.
A Japan eSim is one of the best options for Disney-goers as it only requires you to have your mobile phone. This eliminates the need to carry around a bulky device.
If you’re new to using eSims, they work exactly like a traditional SIM card, except there’s no physical card to swap in and out. If you purchase on Klook, you can directly install and activate it on your mobile device via QR code or through the Klook App itself!
Plus, it allows you to carry multiple cellular plans on your device – yes, you’ll be able to receive text messages with your original phone number from your home country. This is perfect if you need to use your credit card during your stay in Japan.
