Sham Shui Po District includes Sham Shui Po, On Yue, Yuen Chau, Tong Mei, Cheung Sha Wan, Lai Chi Kok, southern Butterfly Valley (south of Shing Cheung Road), So Uk, Lei Cheng Uk, Shek Kip Mei, Yau Yat Estate, and Kowloon Tong The western part (west of Tat Chee Chau), Tai Wo Ping, and the southern part of Stonecutters Island (i.e. Stonecutters Island Government Dockyard, Stonecutters Island Naval Base, Stonecutters Island Sewage Treatment Works, etc.) was not Kwai Chung due to the reclamation project in the 1990s. part of the container terminal area). The northwest of Sham Shui Po District is bounded by Shing Cheung Road and Lai King Shan Road. Therefore, some areas considered Kowloon, such as Jiu Wah Path, Wah Lai Estate, etc., actually belong to Kwai Tsing District, while Ching Lai Court (in Lai King Shan South of Cheng Cheung Road and north of Cheng Cheung Road) and Ying Fai Terrace are the scope of Sham Shui Po District. Since the east and south of Sham Shui Po District are bounded by the MTR East Rail Line tracks and Boundary Street, the area south of Boundary Street (the section before the MTR East Rail Line) includes parts of Ru Chow Street, Keelung Street, Tai Nan Street and Lai Chi Kok Road belong to Yau Tsim Mong District, while Festival Walk, City University of Hong Kong, and Festival Walk Estate, located to the west of Kowloon Tong along the MTR East Rail Line track, belong to Sham Shui Po District, not Kowloon City District.
I had a friend's gathering earlier and had a meal at The Window Pavilion at the Kowloon Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong. It's a very old brand. In terms of luxurious decoration and fancy categories, it's really far inferior to the upstarts. It's a bit nostalgic and a bit plain. However, In terms of the variety of categories and the quality of the food, there is really no compromise. The main focus of the night is Wagyu lobster, but there are not many styles related to it. The Wagyu soup is outstanding. The lobster is half a small piece per person, but it is not compromised, but it is always served. The meat and oysters are commendable in terms of quality, the variety of desserts and hot dishes is a bit old-school and quite pragmatic. Personally recommended delicacies include oysters, beef tartare, crab legs, hot plates of sliced duck, roasted beef tongue, steamed fish, barbecued pork, and desserts such as souffle, poplar nectar, mango napoleon, etc., as well as, There are so many types of MÖVENPICK ice cream, and you will feel very full after eating a little of each one. Yusheng is average. It's okay, the dim sum, the siu mai and the steamed dumplings are actually not bad, but they're not amazing either. I'll just eat one or two if I like them. Various cakes are OK, but too filling.
I can’t wait to eat at the Buffet in the Window Pavilion. The layout is similar to the previous one. Desserts are my favorite, including the Movenpick espresso flavored ice cream😋😋. The hotel service is very good, and the window seat is very good. , there is also a small cake with your name on your birthday👍🏻👍🏻 Klook booking is also very convenient👍🏻👍🏻
So glad that I booked this Christmas buffet, the produce and food is good quality and all served hot and fresh mostly. Good selection of hot and cold. Ample time to start and work through the entire buffet. If in HK I'd recommend book.
It was easy getting to the Kowloon Hotel- really close to TST exit L3. Using the voucher at the hotel restaurant was easy peasy too. the restaurant wasn't crowded despite it being a special occasion and there was plenty of space to move around with plates of food without bumping into people. The food was alright. I commend the wide variety of cuisines available but the taste of the supposed highlights of the Xmas buffet were lacking. The roast beef and turkey were kind of bland. The Indian and Thai food as well as the tempura and many desserts were my favorites.
I didn’t book the first session on Christmas Eve, so I went to 8:30pm on the left and the venue was not full, but the food variety was better than expected, and the food was better than expected. The seafood was fresh and sweet but on the thin side (I am a big eater, so I am not dissatisfied, but my friends who traveled with me felt that Everyone is happy), but the taste is unanimously praised. There are half a dozen oysters, long-legged crabs have the smell of sea water, the Oriental snails are all good (I haven’t tried them), and the Norwegian smoked salmon has a very rich and delicious taste. Because the weather was freezing, I ate a lot of hot food this time, and I was quite surprised. The skewers, lamb rack, sliced duck, salt-roasted beef tongue, sea urchin spaghetti, meatballs and mashed potatoes were all of a high standard. It took me a while to finish them in one sitting. I want to eat more, all the fish are delicious but not smooth enough, the lobster soup is so good and full of ingredients, it really has shrimp and lobster, the turkey is rare, it is soft and tender, and the cheese hot pot has a fine cheese flavor. They are all so strong. As for the desserts, I am really satisfied with them. Let’s not talk about the 12 types of movenpick ice cream and sorbet. They are still high quality. The coconut has the fragrance of shredded coconut, and the lime sorbet is fresh enough. Both the coffee and coffee tastes are very strong. What’s more, There are many types of desserts, including cupcake doughnut, sponge cake, cheesecake, mousse, and custard. Basically all of them are available, including mango. The napoleon is super delicious. You must try it. There is also pudding & tiramisu. It melts in your mouth and tastes so good. Anyway, it’s perfect. The biggest problem is that my stomach is not big enough, but in the end, I basically can’t eat all the combs. I went out several times and I couldn’t get enough of it. In addition, there was Santa Claus coming out to take pictures with everyone at the Christmas show. There are also employees who help take family photos. They are so friendly and polite, with smiles on their faces. They are very fast at holding the table. Someone must have picked up a lucky plate within 2 seconds after finishing the meal, which is more impressive than others. There is a little pressure to live and eat XD Overall, I will try it again if I have the chance. It is a bit expensive, but I think it is worth it. It is a fun experience once a year, btw the environment is beautifully decorated and the Christmas atmosphere is strong. The dessert stand is really beautiful with Christmas decorations
I am so happy tonight😀There are many choices of food👍The taste is full of memories😋🤣My husband and I ate while recalling the bits and pieces of the buffet dinner at the Kowloon Hotel before🙏🏻Looking out the window at dusk and enjoying it🥳Moreover, I would like to thank the hotel staff for kindly arranging us Sitting in the mouth of the 𥦬 mouth is very upright 🙏🏻🙏🏻👍😆 There is a male waiter brother who carefully noticed that I am a birthday girl 🙏🏻🙏🏻👍🎉 Asking my husband - when the hotel will send a birthday 🎂, you can write down ㊗️褔句语🙏🏻🙏🏻😆Put down the pen and paper👍I watched my husband turn around and write better than the male waiter brother 🤗 Later the male waiter brother sent a birthday 🎂Husband happily sang birthday song🎉🎉🎂🙏🏻My heartfelt Thank you to all the staff of Yichuangge of Kowloon Hotel
The seevice is excellent, finished plates were removed immediately. A meal with oyater, roasted beef, sashimi, hot cuisines and disserts, which is high CP value. Worthy to go!!
The environment of "The Window Pavilion" is very tidy, the staff are friendly and attentive, and the location and setting of the dining room are also spacious. The food is great, there are 4 types of frozen seafood, 5 types of sashimi, 2 types of siu mei, 2 types of Japanese fried food, more than 20 types of warm-up, and more than 20 types of dessert ice cream. It's worth the $350 price.
The Food is very delicious! Staff are very nice! Ambiance is very decent.
