Nevertheless, Executive Pastry Chef Sam Chan and his bakery team further enhance the celebration with sakura motifs and other Japanese-inspired desserts, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the colors and flavors of a summer matsuri.
Must-Try Sea Urchin Cuisines & Live-Cut Tuna Performance
This exquisite celebration shines a spotlight on premium Japanese sea urchin, with the culinary team presenting a series of inventive dishes that capture the ingredient’s rich, sweet ocean essence. Guests can savor the Sea Urchin and Salmon Roe Sushi Taco (available for dinner buffet only), where crisp nori and vinegared rice serve as a delicate vessel for the luscious brininess of fresh uni. The Crispy Rice Cracker with Sea Urchin & Caviar (available for dinner buffet only) delights with layers of texture and luxurious flavor, each bite releases pure indulgence.
Equally enchanting is the Sakura Sushi with Sea Urchin & Crab Roe, whose refined presentation pairs the sea urchin’s creamy sweetness with the bright crunch of crab roe—offering a double expression of ocean freshness. For those seeking true satisfaction, the Assorted Sashimi Don with Sea Urchin—lavished with assorted seasonal sashimi and fresh uni—delivers a medley of vibrant flavors in every mouthful. Adding a Western flourish, the Lobster Sauce Pasta with Sea Urchin & Crab Roe harmonizes Japanese and European notes with velvety richness, while the Chawanmushi with Crab Meat, Sea Urchin and Salmon Roe hides a delicious treasury of fresh seafood beneath its silky surface. Each creation reflects the chefs’ finesse and imagination, revealing the many faces of sea urchin - creamy, sweet, and profoundly memorable—sure to delight every uni lover.
Another highlight is the LIVE 15kg Tuna Cutting Performance during Friday to Sunday and public holiday dinner services, where chefs skillfully slice and serve different cuts, showcasing the tuna’s fatty richness and pure oceanic freshness. The sashimi station features premium selections including fatty salmon, Hamachi (available for dinner buffet only), sweet shrimp, scallops (available for dinner buffet only), and snapper (available for lunch buffet only), complemented by artisanal sushi and rolls such as surf clam salad sushi rolls, seared eel sushi, and seared salmon sushi—evoking guest the reminiscent of a Japanese fish market. The chilled seafood bar offers signature platters with Boston lobster (available for dinner buffet only), brown crab (available for dinner buffet only), snow crab legs, and seasonal oysters.
Over 30 Japanese Hot Dishes Transform the Buffet into a Vibrant Festival Yatai In the hot food section, guests are treated to an enticing lineup of authentic Japanese comfort dishes. The star is the A4 Miyazaki Wagyu teppanyaki with Garlic Chips (available for dinner buffet only), seared to a glistening golden crust while preserving a tender, juicy center, with marbling as intricate as fine marble. The Japanese-style Pork Kakuni is beautifully layered with lean and fat, slow-cooked until the savory sauce permeates every bite and the meat nearly melts on the tongue. The Teppanyaki Cod Fish in Lemon Sauce features crispy, aromatic skin and delicate flesh, lifted by a gently tangy lemon sauce, while Teriyaki Beef Tongue is braised low and slow in a house teriyaki glaze until exceptionally tender and full of flavor.
Among the simmered dishes, the Japanese Braised Oxtail is cooked for several hours until the meat slips from the bone, rich with collagen, and the Sake-Steamed Clams use pure rice sake to draw out plump, sweet clams with a soft, rounded aroma. The Japanese Unagi Fried Rice is imbued with intense aroma, as the eel’s savory fat seeps into each grain of rice. At the fry station, the art of crispiness takes center stage: Deep-Fried Hiroshima Oysters boast a golden, crunchy coating that gives way to a juicy, briny interior; Seasonal Vegetable Tempura is cloaked in an ultra-light batter that locks in natural sweetness without feeling heavy; and the ever-popular Creamy Crab Croquettes are irresistibly rich and moreish. Rounding out the experience, the noodle corner serves Japanese Roasted Pork Ramen with a broth that is deeply flavorful and full-bodied, adding warmth and comfort to the abundant hot selection.
Global Favorites and Cantonese Signature Delights The international selection includes a dinner-only Mirin-Marinated Kagoshima Kurobuta Pork Rack, celebrated for its tender, juicy texture, as well as an impressive Tomahawk available on weekends and public holidays, cooked to perfection with succulent, flavorful meat in every slice. Cantonese specialties feature the Ginger & Spring Onion Seafood Bowl (available for dinner buffet only) brimming with Boston lobster, prawns, mussels, and scallops. Another highlight is the Crispy Hong Kong-style Oyster Omelette (available for dinner buffet only), golden on the outside and tender within, is best enjoyed with fish sauce for an irresistibly nostalgic local taste.
Guests who love bold, crispy bites will gravitate toward the Typhoon Shelter Stir-Fried Prawns (available for dinner buffet only), featuring bouncy prawns coated in a golden crust of fragrant garlic crumbs for an unforgettable punch of flavor. The Whole Steamed Grouper, a signature of the café, is served with sizzling scallion oil poured over the fish at the table, accentuating its silky, flesh. The Steamed Scallops with Garlic Vermicelli (available for dinner buffet only) are equally enticing, with glass noodles soaking up every drop of sweet scallop jus and aromatic garlic.
Mid-summer Poetry · Japanese-Inspired Desserts Executive Pastry Chef Sam Chan and his team present a collection of Japanese-inspired desserts that read like a seasonal poem on the palate. Traditional Sakura Daifuku balances the gentle saltiness of pickled cherry leaves with the mellow sweetness of red bean filling, evoking the grace of springtime. The Japanese Yuzu and Pear Jelly captures the refined aroma of yuzu in a smooth pear gelée, offering a refreshing sensation like a cool spring breeze. The Japanese Black Sesame Cream Roll Cake layers deep-roasted sesame fragrance into an airy sponge for a distinctly nutty, multi-textured bite. For a creative flourish, the Pineapple Osmanthus Almond Tart marries the bright acidity of pineapple, the floral notes of osmanthus and the buttery crunch of almond tart, leaving a long, elegant finish to the feast…

The Sheraton Tsim Sha Tsui's The Café lunch buffet truly exceeded expectations! The entire experience was perfect, with both the food and service being top-notch. The seafood was fresh and perfectly chilled; you could take as many oysters and king crab legs as you wanted, and the sashimi was smooth and never mushy. The Chinese stir-fries were cooked with excellent wok hei and weren't cold. The dessert section offered a huge variety, with milk tea custard, mango pomelo sago, and Häagen-Dazs satisfying all sweet cravings at once. The service was the biggest plus! The staff were attentive throughout, proactively clearing plates and refilling water. They would actively make way when they saw me getting food, and responded immediately to any requests, never ignoring anyone. The environment was comfortably lit, with views of Nathan Road, making for a very relaxing chat with friends. Both the value for money and service quality were consistently excellent. I'll definitely be back for our next gathering!
Paid less than HKD$500 for 2 person (after all the promotion discounts), it’s really value for $! Excellent! Varieties of Choices, unbelievable! Tried many hotel buffets, still can find surprising dishes. Steak, tender, must eat! Pasta, put sea urchin on top, unbearable choice! But just this dish provides sea urchin. Many HK local stylish dishes, not cheap, but surprised me. One unfavourable comment… too noisy… many patronages. Window seats are quite hot in day time in summer now.
The last time I came to celebrate a friend's birthday was in March, and I was a bit disappointed then because it wasn't up to par. This time, however, it was truly, truly commendable! The chilled seafood crab legs were incredibly fresh and meaty, the oysters were very creamy, and the sashimi was wonderfully rich. I was also thrilled with the sea urchin rice crackers! As for the cooked food, there's been a huge improvement. For example, the roasted pork finally had crispy skin this time, and the wagyu rolls and beef short ribs were truly outstanding. For dessert, you absolutely must try the sesame cake and tiramisu! I'll diet after this meal... Overall, the food was exceptionally excellent and high-quality, and the staff service was also fantastic. They were quick and had great smiles, which made my friend's birthday dinner tonight very satisfying and happy. The only thing I sincerely hope the hotel can improve is the sashimi soy sauce!!! It was really salty, not just ordinarily salty, but super salty. I hope there's an improvement next time I dine here. Thank you to the hotel for the arrangements that made us so happy and satisfied with our meal. 🙇🏻
gd food and nice staff but the tables r set too close... the people next table talking so loud very annoying... the grilled wagyu beef a bit greasy and the bbq pork super dry and chewy... overall 8 out of 10...
Excellent value for money! A superb buffet! The Sheraton itself is in a prime location in Tsim Sha Tsui, making transportation very convenient. I took the bus and was dropped off right at the entrance, where my family and I happily celebrated a birthday with the buffet. While the selection wasn't vast, every dish was exquisite and delicious! My family couldn't stop praising it! The staff service was also outstanding, and the comfortable seating environment goes without saying. The lobby even has a nursing room, making it very suitable for families with young children. We informed the hotel in advance that we were celebrating a family birthday, and the staff surprised us with a small cake and proactively offered to take our photos. The staff were all smiles, making us feel right at home 🎉🎉🥰🥰🥰. For hot food, there weren't any stir-fried noodles or rice, but there was ginger and vinegar pork trotters, fresh cheese pasta, seafood laksa, and all the desserts were delicious 🤣🤣👍🏼👍🏼. The snow crab legs were incredibly fresh and sweet, the sushi was excellent, and the oysters were sweet and tasty too 🥳🥳🥳.
Last time I celebrated my friend's birthday here, I thought the environment and food quality were very good 👍🏻. So this year, for my friend's birthday, we came here to celebrate again. Although the environment is not big, the space is very spacious and the seats are very comfortable. The staff clears plates quickly and is very friendly 👍🏻. As for the food, there were some things that were more disappointing this time and need improvement. First of all, the sashimi this time had more tendons and wasn't too fresh!!! Also, the stewed soup wasn't warmed up, which made it a bit cold when we took it later. Who likes to drink cold soup? Finally, the roasted meat, as always, had soggy and not crispy skin. This has been the most disappointing food in the last two times. In other aspects, there are indeed many cooked food choices, and most of them are better than other hotels. Secondly, the desserts, cakes, and fruits never disappoint you ☺️. Overall, I am very satisfied with the price, food, environment, and service 🙏🏻. I look forward to more surprising and delicious food next time I come. 🙇🏻
I've been to the Sheraton twice before for the buffet, and the experiences were good. This time, I got a buy-one-get-one-free deal. This month's theme is crab, and on Sunday night, each guest received a complimentary Shanghai hairy crab, which is simply great value. The cold seafood, lobster, and snow crab legs were all delicious, while the oysters were slightly less impressive. This time, there were various crab dishes in the hot dishes and teppanyaki sections, which crab lovers will definitely find very satisfying. I couldn't post too many photos, so I mainly focused on seafood. Also, I really like the stewed soup, which was fish maw soup that day. My friend and I also added $128 (plus +1 service charge) for unlimited red and white wine. It was a satisfying and happy buffet dinner.
Very easy access from MTR at Nathan Road. Very nice and efficient staff at entrance for quick settle down. Nice food with different varieties. Very nice and polite gentleman at oyster bar. Oysters are nice, both fresh and fried ones. Desserts are nice with regular refills. Chinese food like b pork, duck and fish are well cooked. Wish to have more varieties of hot Chineses food. Sushi and sashimi are nice and fresh, salmon is the best! Nice quality of long crab legs and shrimps. Beef tender but may be a little bit raw for me. Overall high CP with good bargain price, buy one get one! Look forward to similar promotions in future.
