Private & Personalized Tokyo Otaku Culture Tour with a Local Guide

We were lucky to have such a wonderful guide in Kay. He spent so much time taking us through the anime areas we were interested in and showing us how the locals shop for these items. After that we went on a local cultural tour to a nearby Shrine and a Japanese garden. Both incredibly lovely places. Kay was friendly, knowledgeable and just a lovely person and his English was excellent. Highly recommended.

Our tour guide, Miwa was fabulous! She helped us understand th trian system, navigated through Nintendo with my 11yp, was able to get reservations at a resteraunts we wanted and even took us to our next event to make sure we got there. she was flexible and kind and tailored her tour to us! Her English was perfect and she was the perfect person for us to spend the afternoon. with. We miss her already!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our private tour with Ayaka! She knew all of the fun places to go for anime! She contacted us many weeks before to ask what we wanted to do. She set up fantastic reservations at a popular maid café. We enjoyed spending time with her and seeing all of the Akihabara area! Love the tour with Ayaka!!!

It was a great tour with Leon. He showed me everything that I wanted and recommended me where I should go after that. He has a huge knowledge about Tokyo and Japan.

our guide Nobu was wonderful and provided lots of knowledge of the culture and showed us a very different side of Japan.

It was Fun and Full of explanations of this particular world. highly recomend!

What a disappointment. It started off so well, Klook sent us a form straight away where we had to write down in detail what we wanted to see or know. The result: the guide didn't even read it! His sole job was to locate the places where we could find certain merchandise, as it was all about my son. What did he do? He took us to the biggest shopping mall, took us to the 9th floor and said: now you work your way down. He has no idea about the games or merchandise. He talks my husband into a corner and just stands around. Drags us into arcades that we don't care about at all, and we go to a maid cafe (which was our request), but afterwards he eats his way through, has photos taken and does it at our expense. This has nothing to do with a tour that was tailored to us. A complete waste of money and a huge disappointment for my son, he's only in Japan once in his life and then THIS!!
