It's not bad. To find a route in an unfamiliar place, you must have an Internet connection all the time. When you go back to the hotel to rest, you can use the Internet to play games and connect two phones, which is enough.

Very bad data reception. Battery not lasting even full charge. Will switch off by itself after 1 hr usage. Need to plugin the power bank all day long in order the pocket battery last.

The staff was very friendly. She did remind me via WhatsApp on the collecting day at KLIA from time to time. Kindly bear in mind that you need to ready RM200 as deposits. So far so good, the pocket WiFi is functioning well in Japan. For me, it is a must to rent a pocket WiFi, to access location and to gain information from time to time throughout the journey, in smoother and more convenient way.
I used it in Hokkaido for 11 days (Ashikawa, Sapporro, Otaru, Hakodate, Toyako, Naboribetsu), the coverage is good.
