In winter, Shikisai-no-Oka sheds its colorful floral coat, and its rolling, vast hills are completely covered by several meters of premium powder snow, transforming into Biei's most popular "snow wonderland." Here, you can not only gaze out at the majestic, continuous snow-capped peaks of the Daisetsuzan volcanic group, but also experience the thrill of speeding across the snowfields on a snowmobile at your own expense.
