What to expect
Experience Japanese traditional culture and calligraphy in a relaxed workshop in central Hiroshima. After a brief introduction to calligraphy culture (approximately 10 minutes), you will use authentic brushes and ink to learn basic brushstrokes and character balance. Beginners are welcome, with careful and attentive guidance provided. To finish, you will complete your work on Japanese paper and take it home as an original calligraphy piece. The duration is approximately 70 minutes. No special experience is required, and everyone from adults to children can enjoy it. The venue is within walking distance of Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. After the experience, you can also enjoy sightseeing around the area, such as Okonomimura.
