Beijing Pu Lu Tea House
- Stunning lake views: Located on the south bank of Houhai Lake, the second-floor windows and secluded balcony offer direct views of the lake, providing picturesque scenery throughout the four seasons. Enjoy the capital's waterside scenery while savoring tea.
- Select tea varieties: Carefully selected fine teas from the core production areas of the six major tea categories, such as West Lake Longjing and aged Pu-erh. Our specialty is "Keyi Tan" Osmanthus Aged Tieguanyin, made with twenty-year-old aged tea infused with osmanthus, offering a unique flavor.
- Professional tea art: Our tea masters are all experts, proficient in the characteristics of the six major tea categories. They can customize tea-drinking plans according to the season and individual constitution, using literati tea ceremony techniques for precise brewing, fully revealing the color, aroma, and taste of the tea.
- Elegant tea snacks: Paired with exquisite Chinese tea snacks, such as osmanthus rice cake and Longjing shortbread, freshly made pastries that are sweet but not greasy, complementing the tea aroma and bringing a rich taste experience.
- Diverse experiences: We offer tea ceremony interest classes for systematic learning of tea culture and appreciation; host parent-child tea study tours to introduce children to the charm of tea; and private rooms to meet business and gathering needs.
What to expect
- Hidden in the core area of Beijing, the Pu Lu Tea House is a poetic residence in the midst of the hustle and bustle. Pushing open the door, the texture of the original wood reflects the blue bricks and black tiles. The warm light shines through the bamboo lampshade, accompanied by the light chanting of the Guqin, instantly sweeping away the hustle and bustle of the city, showing the elegant blank space of oriental aesthetics.
- The tea house strictly selects good teas from the core production areas of the six major tea categories, from the fresh and sweet aftertaste of Mingqian West Lake Longjing to the mellow and long-lasting aged Pu'er. Each tea is hand-picked and professionally brewed by tea artists. Paired with freshly made Jiangnan tea snacks - sweet-scented osmanthus rice cakes are soft, glutinous and sweet, and Longjing shortbread is fragrant and refreshing, allowing the taste buds to dance with the tea fragrance.
- This is not only a place to taste tea, but also an elegant gathering space for cultural exchange. Regularly held tea art experience classes and tea ceremony salons invite tea friends to personally heat pots, pour water, and serve tea, and feel the oriental philosophy of life in one soak and one drink; private tea rooms are equipped with independent tea seats and viewing windows, whether it is business negotiations or friends gathering, you can enjoy freedom and ease.
- You can get a quiet place without traveling far. Pu Lu Tea House takes tea as a medium and uses craftsmanship and temperature to create a comfortable journey of slow-tasting time for every visitor, allowing urban people to regain the poetic meaning of life.

Reviews
One of the most unique and impressive places in Beijing! So romantic and quiet! A great choice of different tea. it was not easy to find for me, I recommend get to Xiaoshibei Alley and it’s really close.
Klook shuld specify that if 2 pax they only provide one pot
Disappointing experience—description does not match reality. While the teahouse is lovely and right by the lake, the views are mostly blocked by trees, unlike what is shown in the photos. I booked this expecting a tea tasting with explanations and a variety of traditional snacks, as advertised and since the table was preset with five small cups and tea attributes upon arrival. Instead, you just pick one tea and get one snack, making it feel vastly overpriced. The saving grace was the staff. The server was incredibly friendly, and despite a language barrier, used a translator app to help. After we spoke, she kindly brought out another tea and a few extra snacks on the house. Klook seriously needs to update this description. I would not have booked this if I had known what it actually was.
