A Beijing native born in 1995, she enjoys outdoor activities such as running, trail running, and hiking. She currently runs a family-style coffee shop in the fiercely competitive Qingnian Road area of Beijing, offering handcrafted beverages including Italian coffee, pour-over coffee, homemade fruit wine, and naturally fermented Kombucha.

Enjoy an authentic Beijing home-style meal in a family-style coffee shop. Delve into the home of a local Beijing resident to savor genuine local cuisine and gain insight into the local food culture and humanistic characteristics. It can be a private gathering just for you, or a shared gathering for friends from all over the world, where you can listen to each other's stories.

Our weekly Friday culinary experience is a communal table setting, and other Chinese guests will be participating. Please let us know in advance if you have any dietary restrictions.

It is the best experience I had throughout my whole trip in beijing, met different people from different walks of life, with different life experiences, sharing stories while enjoying a delightful home cooked meal by the chef and owner. Having a nice cup of specialy brewed coffee at the end marks a wonderful end to this experience. Highly recommend if you have the chance and some extra time to spare. Will definitely come again if I have the chance.

Miao and her partner were very lovely hosts! we had a delicious spread of authentic home made Chinese dishes, with various meats and vegetables, fresh fruits and also home made rose dessert. Delicious drinks. We had so much fun learning and sharing about our cultures. It felt like we were home away from home. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who’d like to experience authentic home cooked feast with locals and those visiting Beijing. Food was clean and hygienic. We’ve made some friends from this experience, and hope to come back again!
an eclectic space featuring the hospitality of beijingers. food was deliciously home cooked and featured seasonal offerings! in addition the hosts offered up two wines for us to drink! no sense of awkwardness at all instead it was a safe space to trade life stories. an experience to remember!
I spent a lovely evening with this young chinese couple in their house. A unique inter cultural experience which we enjoyed from both sides. The food was great, but what I valued most was the opportunity to spend the evening with my hosts.
This experience was our first introduction to life in Beijing and it was a great start to our trip. Miao and her boyfriend prepared a beautiful meal and they were dishes i don't think i would have tried if it wasn't for this experience. We loved the food so much that we prepared a version of one of the dishes in our apartment. it was very nice getting to know them and about chinese culture. I highly recommend this experience to anyone going to Beijing!
