Reviews
The whole day's journey went very smoothly. These places are quite convenient for friends who don’t rent a car. I was particularly impressed by the Kan Yasuda Art Museum, which is not large but worth a visit. The tour guide on that day was also very careful and attentive in explaining the various attractions to everyone, reminding everyone of the things to pay attention to, etc. He also shared many stories so that everyone could better understand Hokkaido.
While it wasn’t the optimal season and weather, the tour was good. The sights were pretty and the tour departed and arrived on time.
This was my first time participating in a Klook activity, and I was very impressed. Our tour guide, Ms. Yagyu, was incredibly friendly and an excellent speaker. It's rare to have a group of fifteen people who are all punctual and cooperative! The itinerary was well-planned and generally satisfactory. I suggest removing the farm visit, as it was a bit run-down, to allow more time for natural attractions.
Great time- management. The guides gave helpful information and clear instructions during the tour.
My family really enjoyed this tour. Nice locations & very well organized.
Hokkaido is truly amazing. The tour guide, Lee, was also excellent.
I signed up for a travel package to explore a place I hadn't visited before. I had read reviews mentioning a Korean-speaking guide, but it turned out to be a Chinese guide. As expected for a small group tour, it was 4 Chinese family members + our 2 = 6 people departing. 1. Arpe Piazza Vivai This was made by renovating a closed school, and you can see sculptures. Honestly, from this point on, my heart was burning with the thought of going home and writing this review. 2. Biei Town It's a quiet town, and a restaurant called Junpei is famous, so I went there, but there were many Koreans. The guide, an older woman, forcefully dragged everyone who got off the tour bus inside and pleaded with the staff, grabbing their arms, to take orders. 4. Ranch The thumbnail for this trip showed cute sheep or goats, but there wasn't even a single ant to be seen. The guide said we might see small animals, but if I had even seen an ant, I wouldn't feel so unfairly treated. It wasn't operating at all. At this point, I wondered why a non-operating ranch was included in the itinerary. I tried to tell myself not to hate the person, as they were probably just doing what the travel agency told them to, but when I conveyed my dissatisfaction to the guide, she just gave a kind smile without saying anything. ...Did you know? 3. Blue Pond We were supposed to spend about an hour at the previous ranch, but we spent 5 minutes admiring the vast empty field + 5 minutes for the restroom = 10 minutes before leaving. Due to the ranch issue, the viewing time for the Blue Pond was forcibly extended. There was no explanation from the guide for any of the tourist spots. 4. Shirahige Waterfall This was also a 10-minute stop. There was a makeshift food truck nearby, and Indian tourists were taking out rice cookers from their bus. It wasn't a packed lunch but more like a catering buffet, and I watched the scene from afar. 5. Furano Winery There was a wine tasting and sales area. I felt like I wouldn't be able to sleep if I didn't take something after looking around, so I picked up a bottle of wine. Including the slightly adjusted viewing times, the tour ended 1 hour and 30 minutes earlier than announced. I haven't done many package tours, but this was truly the worst. By the way, the car was shaking so much in the wind that I thought it would overturn. I don't necessarily want to live a long life, but I don't want to die painfully. I should have just gone to see flowers. At least there's something to see there.
