We thoroughly enjoyed this day trip filled with serene shrines, peafeful temples, natural beauty, and some touristy shopping and food at the end of the tour. Our guide Hide, was friendly and knowledgeable and he got us everywhere safely and on time. We would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see these major sites and attractions without having to worry about the transportation.

I had an amazing Kyoto day trip visiting Arashiyama, Sanzen Garden, and Kifune Shrine. In Arashiyama, I rode a rickshaw and took beautiful photos in the bamboo forest. Sanzen Garden was a favorite for its quiet, calming atmosphere, and at Kifune Shrine I enjoyed trying the paper water fortune. Our guide and driver, Nick Lee, spoke excellent English and shared great background stories about each place, which made the experience even more meaningful. Highly recommended!

We booked the tour just 1 day prior and it was amazing. only 5 of us in total and it was a big van. the locations are very good and not that many tourists so you can take good picture. Our tour guide NickLee is very professional and amazing, he contact and practicely message us the time and details so you don’t get late, though even if were late he is fine with it. in total, it was a very amazing and not hassle trip. thank you NickLess

Our tour guide Nick was super kind and thoughtful ✨ We didn't see the sign he was holding in the morning, but he waited patiently for us 🥹 He also shared fun little stories about Kyoto on the bus, which made the trip even more interesting! We had so much fun eating yudofu (tofu hot pot) in Arashiyama that we were a little rushed to catch the 3:02 PM Sagano Scenic Railway train 🤣 We originally thought we only had 10 minutes left, but it was a 14-minute walk to our destination. We almost gave up, but then we figured we'd bought the tickets already so we decided to go for it! We went from being totally relaxed and having plenty of time to rushing around like crazy, but we still made it on time 🙈 Overall, though, the pace was smooth and the atmosphere was very relaxed 💕 Thank you, Nick, for making our day so enjoyable 🌿

Although there was no guide on that day . we still agreed to do this trip.Our chinese driver took a great care of us. My husband could under little lit chinese so it was fine and other people in our van also explained well to us. we had greattt time. although it was raining but all the places were soooo beautiful and aesthetically pleasing to our eyes. i would love. to go back again and spend a day in these places.

Had an amazing experience visiting Kifune shrine and Arashiyama. We wanted to wear kimonos and we made it happen at last at Arashiyama. We managed to wear kimono and also take a stroll around the bamboo forest. Would recommend to try kimono in a relaxed pace and not in a group tour as time is limited. Nevertheless the beauty of the places we visited were just splendid. Being able to cover three places without being much of a hassle is possible via this tour. Worth it. So glad I booked this trip, was a small group of 4 so nice and quiet. The stops were remote, so getting there wouldn’t have been easy on public transport. NickLee our driver was polite, spoke perfect English and ensured we were in the right place at the right time, I couldn’t have asked for a better tour driver. With most of the stops being in the middle of the countryside it was complex getting there, sometimes down tiny roads, NickLees driving was impeccable. It was raining hard in the afternoon and he even ensured we all had umbrellas. I can’t recommend this trip enough, even the views en-route were stunning. The stops even more so. Sanzen-In buddist temple is not to be missed, with it’s ethereal moss garden and calming atmosphere. Kifune is amazing and Arashyama didn’t disappoint. if you’re thinking about booking this trip, do it.

I strongly encourage all who first come to Kyoto to book this trip and especially choose Mimi as your tour guide if possible. She is friendly and helpful and ensure all enjoy the whole trip with her. The trip to Todaiji Temple and Nara Park caters to two different interest groups, while the Uiji River has Uji river view, Byodoin Temple, Matcha Desserts, Sweets and Tea for sweet memories. Last stop at Fushimi Inari Shrine was classical as there were food stalls that look like food carnivals in Japanese Animes and the Shrine has its marvelous scenary due to its Senbon Torii. You definitely have a wonderful day walking all these landmarks.

We were extremely satisfied with the full-day itinerary, and I must give Master Li Jun a five-star rating! He was very professional and friendly, providing simple explanations of the attractions throughout the trip. He also clearly arranged the pick-up and drop-off points, which made us feel very at ease. What surprised me most was his flexibility in planning. When we spontaneously decided we wanted to experience the Arashiyama Scenic Railway, he immediately helped us arrange it, completely adjusting the itinerary to our needs, which was incredibly thoughtful. Plus, this was a small group tour, making communication very convenient. The pace of the trip was relaxed yet fulfilling, and the overall experience for the entire day was excellent. In summary, Master Li Jun is meticulous and reliable, and his service is very attentive. I truly recommend him to everyone! 👍

Good tour! Sanzen in temple was amazing! A bit sad we werent able to explore Kifune Shrine due to shortened time. Bamboo forest at Arashiyama was also very crowded. Overall a good experience.
