This tour was absolutely amazing, and I highly recommend it to anyone. Our guide, Naomi, went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience—nothing was too much trouble for her. The views were breathtaking, and the entire team was incredibly attentive to every detail.
Fran from Amigo Tours was a very personable and helpful guide. The day felt well-organized and we learned a lot of Japanese history that we otherwise would have missed out on. It was also great to no worry about public transportation and to leave our belongings on the bus between activities. Highly reccomend this tour!
Unfortunately, we were there during several school field trips, so there were hundreds of kids. But poor timing aside, the tour itself was wonderful and Nikko is a stunning and worthwhile day trip! Highly recommend.
A must do tour while in Tokyo. Beru was exceptional explaining all about the the Japanese culture. Nikko is beautiful, it has so much history. You have plenty of time to see all the sightseeings.
We really enjoyed our tour to Nikko with George. He was very informative and taught us many things about the Japanese culture. Tips for other travlers: Lots of walking around the temple ans Nikko can be cold even in June.
My first visit to Nikko was such a wonderful experience, and Naomi made it even more special! She was knowledgeable, thoughtful, and incredibly attentive throughout the tour. What I appreciated most was how she brought the history and culture of Nikko to life in a way that was both interesting and enjoyable, without ever making it feel like a history lesson. Thanks to Naomi, I was able to appreciate Nikko beyond just its beautiful scenery and famous landmarks. Her warm personality and genuine passion for what she does made the entire day feel effortless and memorable. If you’re considering a trip to Nikko, I highly recommend joining Naomi’s tour. A great destination is one thing, but having the right guide can make all the difference — and Naomi truly made this trip special. Thank you, Naomi, for such a memorable first experience in Nikko! 😊
a great hassle free experience. This is the trip you take if you want to see Nikko in all its nature filled glory. Beru the guide was fluent in both English and Spanish. He provided excellent commentary throughout the journey and made sure there was enough time to see the best attraction at every stop. The driver Waku was very professional and got us to our destinations on time and without issue. Do this trip on the weekdays as this allows potential for no traffic on the roads.
wanted to go to Nikko and decided to go with a tour for the ease of transportation. we had a wonderful guide, Naomi, who explained lots of history and culture that was very helpful and interesting. I’ve been solo traveling for a week and a half, and I regret not doing this earlier into my trip and I would have approach many experiences more knowledgeably!
The tour guide, Jorge, is friendly, accomodating, funny, very helpful, and hands on. Learned so much on Japan culture and history. The tour is chill with little hikes. Time is enough to roam around. We are lucky that roads are not closed and there are still snow.
This tour is spectacular. If you come to Tokyo, you absolutely must set aside a day for this tour. The guide is incredible, alternating between Spanish and English, which makes it very dynamic, the best I've ever seen! We are leaving very happy with this experience, 100% recommended. Everyone should do this tour. Thank you for this amazing day!
