What to expect
The Blue Cave is extremely popular in Okinawa, a stunning underwater grotto! One of only two “Blue Caves” in the world is located in Maeda Point in Onna Village, in the northern part of Okinawa Island, a cave in a cape bay formed by long-term seawater erosion.
The refraction of sunlight creates a mysterious blue light that is reflected by the white sand on the seabed. The clear, transparent seawater changes with the terrain, painting a gradation like a canvas.
[Free Fish Feeding Experience!] Experience feeding colorful fish! Amazing! Abundant fish! You can fully concentrate on playing with the fish. [We provide you with photos of the activity!] The guide will take photos and videos. After the tour, they will be sent to your smartphone on the spot. [Multiple Language Instructors!] We have staff who speak Chinese, Japanese, and English, so overseas guests can enjoy snorkeling with peace of mind!

Reviews
Highly recommended! Anyone visiting Okinawa should definitely go to the Blue Cave, and this tour provides excellent service. Our guide, AKA, took great care of us and captured beautiful photos and videos. We went as a family of three (parents and child), and our child absolutely loved it. AKA also took wonderful care of our child. Everything felt very safe. I highly recommend this to anyone!
I book this trip on Okinawa pass 76. aud for 2 activities, It’s a small group snorkeling( that’s sloth was only 6 people including me) that’s so nice , on that day was so windy so we can’t go snorkeling at Blue cave so we went to Ura-Meada beach nearby , still the great experience for my first snorkeling in Japan. experience:for who are coming alone you I recommend to book via Okinwa pass to Join the group. instructor: “Aka” so helpful and English fluently speaking. location: who wants to put their belongings , you need to use coin locker, cost 200yen and only can open once.Once I don’t know it will take money when just open the locker so I end up with paying extra 400yen for locker 😫😫 I suggest to provided locker for the visitors would be nicer 😄,
Colin is an amazing snorkeling instructor (a Taiwanese exchange intern) who is incredibly passionate and talented! Even though it rained heavily the day before, she professionally assured us that the rain wouldn't affect the snorkeling experience. We were truly surprised by the actual experience; there were so many tropical fish in the sea, and the entire process was incredibly fun and unforgettable. It's a highly recommended activity that's definitely worth doing!
My first snorkeling experience was so much more fun than I imagined! Even as someone who can't swim and is afraid of the water, I felt very safe. The instructor we had was really great, very patient, and took good care of all of us. We were a group of ten adults and one child, and the goggles might be scary for kids. The child in our group cried the whole time, but the instructor was still willing to spend time teaching. It was a wonderful experience.
It was the last group of the day, and although the Blue Cave was closed due to the weather, the nearby alternative diving spot was still very worth trying. The instructor in charge was great, but after returning to the base, the staff kept urging us to hurry up so they could go home, which was unpleasant.
It was a wonderful day with great water temperature. For a few bucks it was a nice getaway. We enjoyed it!
The lady at the counter can speak Chinese, and the Japanese coach who led us also tried hard to speak English to talk to us. They were all very friendly. For an additional 3,000 yen, they could help with filming. In the end, they helped us take more than 40 photos and videos. The Qingdong Cave is really beautiful. I recommend people who don't have a gopro to buy it, otherwise it would be a pity not to take a video.
The Blue Cave is amazing. The color of the water doesn't seem real, and as soon as you enter, you forget everything else. Aka was a fantastic guide: friendly, calm, joking, a great photographer, and very attentive to us at all times. A beautiful and highly recommended experience if you're in Okinawa.
The snorkeling in Okinawa was absolutely stunning! The equipment was very complete, but the time felt a little short. I hope they can offer a longer snorkeling session. The instructor was great and took a lot of photos and videos for us. It only cost 3000 yen.
The activity in itself very fun, we had to go to the alternative spot in Maeda Cape because we booked on a day with very strong wind currents, but even if you cannot go to the blue cave, it is 100% recommended, the beach and the underwater is beautiful, and the instructor is very nice and took a lot of photos and even vídeos for us!!!! The instalations were a bit lacking, showers were open and the changing rooms did not lock properly, only nice touch was the hairdryer corner with 3 hairdryers, mirrors, tissues, cotton swabs. Overall recommended.
